It seems they are going to show the remaining five episodes online at nick.com. One episode over the next five weeks. I will have to actually watch the ads instead of being able to fast forward on my DVR. If anyone finds somewhere that has all five episodes up(cuz you know they're gonna leak)let a brotha know please
What will they do for Next Season . . .I figure they will do the same I think streaming is the future anyway WHo has time to go find shows. . . . be there when the come out Rocket River
When Korra eventually ends and if the creators ever want to do another Avatar series, they should really not go back to Nick anymore, if they can, contractually. Nick has just treated this series like crap. And it really didn't help with some of the episodes being leaked. Not really sure what network or online streaming service would be best for Avatar, but anything besides Nick is great. It can even air on Bravo! or BET and have more viewers. But seriously, I can see it doing well on Netflix / Amazon Prime, etc.
I'm slightly surprised Korra doesn't get the Hall H treatment. It's probably the most popular animated show among 'Con goers - and especially with the snafu this year, you'd think everyone and their grandmother would want to find out what the deal is.
So, I think last night's episode was the best episode this season. And it was partly due to having the entire episode in the Metal Clan city, while not having the story divert to finding Airbenders. But that fight where everyone was in their pajamas? Animation was amazing. I like Tenzin and his family and that storyline, but it's good to revisit that every few episodes or so, instead of focusing on it in every episode. In other news, Asami is STILL useless. Her character was pretty necessary in book 1, but there is really nothing for her to do anymore. She just isn't able to fill the "Sokka" role, and at this point in time, focusing on her character / giving her development a boost would halt the momentum of the show. Oh, and P'Li was able to CURVE that combustion bending trajectory? Holy moly.
That Asami - Bolin Pai Sho match promises to be good TV. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/Ab82f37zP8w" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Oh, minor SPOILER about who is working against Korra in the metal clan, if you hadn't already seen the episode. + Mako and Bolin = Breaking Bad. + Korra = Hannibal + Bolin and Asami need to just get together already. What was the point of Opal, when it's obvious Asami and Bolin should be together?! #ShamelessShipper
Just an FYI... All Korra episodes to-date are available to stream for free from Amazon using their app on Roku (the media player, not the Avatar). Even season 3 is up there all the way to last nights episode, though season 3 episodes cost $1.99 each.
I did not care for having to watch this episode on my computer. It was good at least. KorrAsami locked up together should be interesting. And the cliffhanger for that episode with the F4 getting ready to raid the Earth Kingdom got me hyped. I'm ready for the next episode!
The last two episodes have been incredible, perfectly illustrating how f'ing moronic Nickelodeon is. And Tenzin is a freaking badass.
The action this season has been unparalleled. The story...tbh after Korra season 1 it just doesn't even feel like it has a connection to the original Avatar anymore. Still I'm tuning in every week (oftentimes Saturday AM with a hangover, I'm an alcohol bender!) because it's better than anything else out there.
I'm buying each episode on Amazon. $2.99 for HD. Then I watch it through my Roku. Much better than running an HDMI from my laptop. Looks and sounds better for some reason. Anyway, yes, this show is tremendous. It's just getting better and better now after a back and forth season 1 and 2.
The only thing that doesn't make sense is why Korra never goes into the avatar state and jack people up.
Did she ever fully learn how to turn it on and off yet? I probably only honestly remember her doing it twice so far in the series
All of Aang's and Katara's kids are badass. Korra could use a bump in episodes because 12-14 a season is not enough to fully build character development. With The Last Airbender having 20 episodes a season it allowed growth with all the characters and every episode felt important to the overall storyline. For example the episode that had to do with only the air temple was great because it showed Tenzin's struggle rebuilding a whole nation but in the grand scheme of things was a "waste" of an episode because we want more interaction with the red lotus and Korra. Sadly book 4 only has 13 episodes planned.
