It's especially entertaining when the story justifying the "purchase" has been offered up front. He doth protest too much. Why would offer such a poorly falsified story? He could have just said--I bought the PS4. I threw the box away and don't have a receipt. Instead it's "something something family something friend offered me commission to sell a box less PS4 for him. Delete my account mods." I'd venture to guess that he has multiple accounts and used this one to sell sketchy items.
FWIW, I have followed thread since day one and thought op's story was all BS. Anyone who believed it deserved to be sold ocean front property in Arizona..

I dont usually come in and post in FS threads but as someone who buys/sell/trades computer and photography items on other forums, I had to chime in on this one. This one smelled like a rotten egg from the very first post. OP made an account on a basketball forum to sell a PS4 for a friend whose family members opened a gift meant for him which he did not want in the first place. Seriously?! I do not care about price. I believe in free market. He is free to post his item for whatever price he wants. It is the dishonesty that should be pointed out, especially to protect the members of this forum who might not have much experience buying things online.

This was my feeling exactly. It smelled fishy from the very first word, and the faux outrage only made it worse.
His name is Burn Notice 24.....so I am guessing whoever bought it got burned.....not to mention when you alphabetize 2 and 4, you get B and D...which clearly stands for Bad Deal!
