Too much again, IMO. I'd do that without Johnson, but I'm guessing that's the only pg of ours Phoenix would want included. Maybe they take the pick, Dmo, and Johnson.
Sometime in September all the potential bye-bye contrscts will be eligible for a trade. Whatever we send out doesn't have to perfectly match Bledsoe if he's maxed.
Because that's Pop's formula, doesn't mean it will Mchale's formula. We have Daniels and Nick Johnson who can be our scores off the bench. I understand your position on this but I don't think Dragic would come off the bench. We need a true starting pg who will take some of the pressure off Harden.
Wait.....what? If you flip a coin a billion times and it comes up heads a billion times in a row, chances that it comes up heads on the next toss are still 50-50. Previous results have absolutely no bearing on future results regarding the flip of a coin. Odds are always 50-50.
I understand both sides of the discussion. I know for myself when I watch, coach and play basketball that team balance is almost as good as having the best player on the court. Pairing Beverley (Defense with shooting) with Harden(playmaking/shooting) and Dragic(Playmaking/shooting) with Daniels(SHOOTING) or Beverley(Defense with shooting) just makes a ton of sense. That's not to say that Dragic with Harden won't be super good, just that playing them together major minutes will give diminishing returns. You may start Dragic with Harden, but bring in Beverley for Dragic 6 mins into the 1st Q. At the start of Q2, Harden sits while Dragic takes over while playing with Beverley - 3 man guard rotation. That could be the guard rotation entering the playoffs. I'd expect to see Daniels get regular minutes during the season. I don't really care who starts but I'm pro staggering minutes of Dragic and Harden so you have a play maker / scorer on the court at all times. Thought it would be an interesting discussion.
Serious question for those of us who don't know, CH alluded to it earlier but what went down with jopat that led him to leave. I've read enough to believe BBH is jopat and he seems to have accepted that most ppl know that now. Just curious about the history here.
Oh no doubt, bringing Goran off the bench would be a great idea. But I just don't see that happening. I agree with the staggering of Harden and Dragic minutes. I also think Nick will be playing some quality minutes with the Rockets this season. That's another play maker/scorer we could utilize this season. Moonscope this discussion is awesome big timer.
He could have just admitted his mistake and moved on. But no, he keeps on defending his position and fighting a battle he cannot win. Cyberx, please save us from all this SOOOOOON!
I really didn't read the back and forth...but hell yeah the Pelicans are more injury prone than the Rockets. That's common sense.
dude read this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hot-hand_fallacy 50-50 each time; each trial is independent of the previous or listen to this http://www.radiolab.org/story/91684-stochasticity/ trials are independent of each other bro
Bobrek is correct this is known as gamblers fallacy. " mistaken belief that if something happens more frequently than normal during some period, then it will happen less frequently in the future, or that if something happens less frequently than normal during some period, then it will happen more frequently in the future (presumably as a means of balancing nature).
