Hoping they're just holding AJ and Arian out due to their vet status. Cush, I'm hoping he can stay healthy this season so we can see if he can return to his pre-injury form. Lot of money tied up in those guys, and we have shown that we have little to no depth behind them if they go down for an extended period. Moving Hopkins, Thomas, and Posey up the depth chart one spot isn't near as enticing as having them be the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th WRs respectively.
Rookie nose tackle Louis Nix III and fullback Jay Prosch returned to the practice field in full pads on Tuesday after missing time in training camp. Nix, 23, was removed from the Active/PUP list after after passing his physical. The third-round draft pick underwent arthroscopic knee surgery before the start of camp and could potentially participate in joint practices with the Atlanta Falcons on Wednesday. Head coach Bill O'Brien said he would make that decision after seeing how Nix fared following Tuesday's practice.
