No on Trey Burke. He's another Lin.

Actually he did really well after Westbrook went down last year with starter minutes. He would be better than Bev by leaps and bounds....im telling you he could really blossom with consistent starter minutes.

Lin would be an improvement over what the Rockets have on the bench now. The big problem with Lin was the contract. If he was making the same amount as Trey Burke, there wouldn't have been the near the complaints about his play and it wouldn't have cost a 1st rounder to jettison him to the Lakers.

The problem with Lin were the delusional fans... only year 3 of his contract was a problem...

I feel bad for Utah (not really), but it's a bummer for them that all of their young players and high draft picks suck.

Favors, Kanter, Burke, Hayward are all average without actual star potential. I actually am rooting for Dante Exum, but even that was a risky pick.

I WILL NEVER FEEL BAD FOR UTAH!

And, I have to disagree on Kanter...In fact, I would welcome him here with open arms.

    Hahaha I won't either.

I would welcome him here, but only because he's as good or better than Jones and Dmo. I'd welcome any of those guys, but I wouldn't build a team around them. That's all I was getting at!

(I would not welcome Hayward with that contract though)

Plowman, you posted this in the other thread:

Does this mean you're only agreeng with Drew that we'll get "our point guard" and not that it's going to be Dragic?

Look at his stats this year. His assit to turnover ratio is 3 to 1 on Utah. That does not look like JLin to me at all whose was a horrible 1.67 to 1. Burke is clearly a better PG whose was a lottery pick. While he may not be an all star by any stretch, he's definitely a startable upgrade.

    Burke being Lin is ridiculous.

Burke is a younger player and already shows signs of being better.

kanter - do not want at the 5. at the 4? maybe. he can't protect the rim. and he lacks vertical.

hayward is a douche. favors is on the wrong team. burke is burke, not sure on his ceiling.

i like exum. he could be the jazz's best player... this year.

I didn't make the Lin comment. He's obviously a different (and probably better) player than Lin.

I'd certainly take him on this team, it just isn't going to happen so that was a more general statement about Utah.

I think Kanter is the best player of that group right now AND has the best upside. Would love him next to Howard.

    Is this you, DD???

Tell you what.......I'm starting to really like considering Kanter next to Dwight. I still think I like Cody Zeller more. But Kanter's offensive skill set is phenomenal.
