if he really does end up getting in with the kardashian family - i'm soooooo glad he's not in H-town anymore. that's a perfect fit for cuban and the mavs. watching him meltdown in dallas will be awesome.
Whats funny is I'm sure he is USING the Kardashians for exposure for himself. I hate Parsons but applaud seeing the tables turned on the Kardashians for a change He gets in on the Kardashians and becomes a huge sex symbolized star raking in more millions then his max contract with the mavs is worth.. all from California marketers and business deals, he will have tvs shows, he will have clothing lines, he will have it all.
Statistically speaking, Jefferson should be able to fill Carter's role quite well. He played more minutes and shot better than Carter last year. He doesn't have Carter's clutch factor, but I'll gladly "trade" Parsons for Carter at this point in both of their careers. Marion will be missed the most. But you're definitely right about Dirk. He's still extremely efficient, but he's been on the decline. I wouldn't be surprised if he announces his retirement during the year.
Dirk could last longer, as he relying on shooting than rebounding/blocking to bang his body with other ppl.
So glad this douche is gone. Why in the world would any athlete get caught up in Kardashian b.s. is beyond me. The only thing hell get is a bunch of bad luck
Now people can see why Parsons was a horrible player on this team maturity and professional wise. Dude is whoring himself out like riff raff.
I'm a bit late but isn't that against the rules? Dallas was only permitted to meet with Parsons and make an offer after the midnight deadline had passed, isn't that how it works? How could he have already committed if he didn't know what the offer was?
Chandler parson better run! When she leaves his ass she'll get half. I dont think parent's money counts for divorce.
You're confusing July 10th(1st signing day) with July 1st(1st contact/offer day). Parsons was talking about midnight on the 10th in that quote.
Damn this boy went so Hollywood....kinda interesting all this stuff started coming out shortly after he signed with the Mavs. Don't care what Harden says, pretty sure he hates this fool now.
For a guy who has already experienced fairly severe back problems at age 24, I think trying to bulk up that much is a horrible idea. I was already a little concerned for his career and with the Rockets committing to him long term (when I thought he would remain a Rocket) during last season when he was 215ish and missing time with back issues.
This. I think the Mavs are making a serious mistake allowing him to bulk up that much. Overpaid and hurt is an awful combo.
