Hibbert gets pooped on by the media because he has low counting stats, but he was the cornerstone to the best defense in the NBA for the last two seasons. Even after a "bad" season from Hibbert the Pacers were #1 in defensive efficiency and #3 in team rebound rate. That is literally impossible in today's NBA without an elite center.
Hibbert has a glass psyche. Chuck Hayes broke him down and ground him to powder about 3 years ago. It looked like Hibbert had turned over a new leaf and had become unfragile. But last season...re-exposed his Achilles heal. You can mess with his psyche and totally screw up his game. His trade value right now..is in the toilet...especially when you consider his contract.
A real insider should just tell us what it is. The nba is fixed. Nobody is talking about the Uncle Drew commercials Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love have been doing together... that should have told people Love was coming to Cleveland once Lebron left Miami to go back. Nba isn't that much different from WWE. It's hard for Morey to fight what is already fixed granted he does a excellent job trying.
And a box of rubbers so when they're screwing each other's wives and girlfriends they don't trade each other's STD's.
Kevin Martin could be traded - - if his deal ended with the upcoming season. The contract is what matters most, much (most) of the time.
Despite Bledsoe's health? Understand Dragic has been very healthy and has very little mileage as a player who didn't come into the league for 2-3 years after he was drafted, and who was a backup for most of his career behind Nash and Lowry, except the last 2 seasons with the Suns. I like Bledsoe and if health wasn't a concern I'd want him over Dragic too, but thats definitely not the case. Would take Dragic 9 times out 10 over Bledsoe because of health reasons.
If you can't score and you can't rebound then what use are you out there on the NBA court? Especially for the amount of money he is getting paid...
Hibbert is better than anything we can offer outside Harden and Howard. Jones may have more potential, but let's be realistic
Not sure how many teams want Hibbert's contract. Jones is on a good contract with good upside. Nothing unrealistic about that.
