We don't know that they're not. If they win a 'ship in the next 3 years, you'd look like a really big dumbass. But, as is your right, feel free to kick 'em when they're down.
Man Bortles did well...where are our standards? Pre-season means diddly doo. We learn this EVERY SEASON...well most people learn it every season.
Even Fitz's completed passes or completed pass looked like a wounded duck. Case has to get the starting job, he just does.
Well there wasn't many positive things to take away from tonight other than it's just preseason. Right now it looks like Case Keenum is the Texans QB, we'll see if that holds the rest of preseason.
He did not look confident at all. Bringing in older guys to mentor the younger guys is turning out to be expensive mistakes. Now they are basically forced to keep Fitzpatrick and we either go with Keenum or Savage or cut Keenum and bring in another vet (at what price?). Either way we carry three QB's for sure this season.
Manziel with a solid 1st game. Far better than any of the trash the Texans threw out there at QB tonight. Texans could have traded up to get Manziel for a pittance... What a stupid organization. How Rick Smith is still employed boggles me.
Very very poor drafts year after year. Good teams are built are built and solidified in the draft, specifically outside of the first round. This franchise has done well exactly once in those rounds.

Fitzpatrick is far worse than Schaub (outside of Schaubs horrific last year). Look at the stats. We are facing a huge downgrade relative to Schaub's first 6 years here. It is no surprise that he came out looking so inept.
