Agreed... same here. Its funny that as much flack as the run and shoot got, it would almost be a "standard" offense in today's game... but back then, ball-control/TOP offenses were all the rage, and it went extinct. Really the 99 Rams started this whole movement... (along with the rule changes implemented after the 2001 Rams were beaten by the Pats, and the NFL realized that quick hitting offenses are sexy and bring in more viewers).
As long as QB's are protected like this...and every third pass down field results in a flag thrown on defense..it's hard for me to see it changing back to ball control any time soon. Too many incentives to throw it up.

The announcers also said something along the lines up "1:28 to go? This is good practice for Logan Thomas to work on 2 minute drills," as if they were going to run up the score. lol
Hard to beat you summary. I am still searching for a bright spot. Maybe Clowney looked fast and Blue looked pretty good. Special teams still suck and so does everything else. They looked like the 2-14 team from last year. But your terms are on target….disorganized and inept….and that is especially disturbing with a new coach who is supposedly all about organization and discipline.
