The backlash from you, alone, in this thread has been something. Make sure to name your first born Manziel just to make yourself completely clear about your opinion of the man.
I'm not saying JFF is going to be the next big thing. I just don't think he is going to be a failure like most of the people here are thinking he's going to be. (or wanting him to be. Hard to distinguish these days.) But there's a difference between betting on him not living up to his potential versus outright thinking he's going to fail. I think your opinion falls in the latter? I'm just hoping he'll succeed. Russell Wilson having success gives QBs with smaller frames / statures, some glimmer of hope lol. I'm an Aggie, so sure, there's bias. But I like seeing good collegiate players hopefully succeed, regardless of team / conference / rivalry. It's unfortunate that players like Tebow and VY didn't work out in the NFL. Anyway, back to this Texans game. If you can even call it that, now. lol
Well if anyone here has season tickets and feel the season is already over, just message me. I would gladly take them off your hands

Sure, and Drew Brees also. Chances are, if both of those guys had the "hype" that Manziel currently has, they probably end up with much bigger targets on their backs and much more media scrutiny that sometimes r****ds success. Manziel is who he is... and I'm sure he wouldn't want it any other way. Just saying the odds are highly stacked against him to succeed at the next level (and that includes the team/organization that he got drafted to). Again, if he can overcome all the media pressure, if he can overcome his own skill and body-type deficiencies, if he can keep his personal life in control (big if), if he can overcome the decades-long organizational failures of his franchise, and if he can stay healthy... he would be doing something (in my mind) that would be unprecedented. Its not bias or even blind hatred... its playing the odds.
