So, Kostas has legions of female fans, but these fans are mostly goat herder's daughters and fishermen's wives?
I get that its just... What NBA player under 5m couldn't average 6 and 3 in 25 mpg in the euroleague? He's a DECENT 3pt shooter. If he can provide defense, that's the most important thing in my eyes.
Yao is actually his family name. Ming was his given name. In China they do it backwards, where the surname is first then the given name. We all knew him as Yao Ming but he really was Ming Yao so having Yao on the back was always correct.
Someone (probably Bimathug) said that Llull might come over next year (hence the team option and push for flexibility).
No, Morey was holding off using the MLE on K-Paps because he was after other players that included Llull. Llull doesn't want to play in the NBA.
Problem is Harden and Howard will be having expiring contracts by the time we use all this great 'flexibility'.
I don't know much about this guy, but the Rockets must really like him to give in and offer him this contract. Best-case scenerio, he and Dorsey will bring the chemistry they had in the Euro league and really energize the second unit. It's an interesting, outside-of-the-box experiment, at least. I also wonder if this means the Rockets' reported pursuit of Ray Allen has been shelved.

They aren't connected though. Presumably the Rockets will be over the cap again next year, so they can offer Llull at most the full MLE regardless of Pap's situation. I think the NG aspect is just there to help facilitate trades should something happen. And if he plays well to justify that contract, all the better. It's no-risk for the Rockets because whether or not he pans out, he'll still be useful next offseason.
