Didn't get in, got there around 845am, heard they had it in a small theater, going to try the Wednesday showing
As a tmnt fan from the 90's. Its not good nor bad. IMO it's better than part 3 from the 90's. Love the fighting scene between shreddar and splinter and megan fox constant heavy breathing might be annoying to some lol
I wish it bombs but knowing Michael Bay, he'll somehow get 80+mil this weekend out of it. With the horrible reviews it is getting however, I think second week will see a big drop.
I just stopped support Bay . . . . . and Megan Fox . .. both are A-holes and make *****ty films Rocket River BootLeg! ARRGGG TO THE PIRATE'S BAY!!
Yes, but to be fair... the 90's TMNT III is only marginally better than the TMNT "Coming Out of their shells" tour video.... It's not saying much to say something is better than that terrible movie...
Battle LA was a fun flick. Pretty cliche sure. But fun. Even though Bay didn't direct it, TMNT has his definite mark. Replace the turtles with Transformers and you have another sequel in that franchise. The action, the look, the humor, hell even the pointless human POV story is straight transformers. I don't dislike all that Bay has done; some of his movies are fun. But I am getting way too tired of his style.
I saw it last night and thought it was pretty good. Its no Guardians of the Galaxy, but its entertaining and i think kids will love it.
I'm not the type to judge people and tell them what they are allowed to like and not like, always seemed like d-bag behavior to me. I personally haven't really liked the transformers movies since the first one, didn't think they deserved the universal hatred though. If you do like the transformers movies, you will probably like this. Even if he didn't direct it, this is a Michael Bay movie. Loved the turtles growing up, but was really indifferent towards this movie. The design of the turtles really sucked IMO. I guess they thought the realistic/tough look was the way to go, and it really doesn't work.
