of all the "quotes" this offseason, this one is the one i pay the least credence too. First, Dwight does not eat that much fast food with his new dietitian and second, if the teammates dont eat together all the time so what? I think D-mo doesn't know usual team dynamics in the NBA, most teams dont eat together. But houston, esp with Lin/parsons/bev did have some great camaraderie among a lot of the guys and maybe d-mo now thinks thats the norm. it's not


My friend plays in China and he never eats with his teammates, maybe they all eat together in Lithuania.

this is a direct quote from one of my sources:

also:

i love d-mo but i think this is being blown way out of proportion.

 

That little tweet is now a front page story on bleacher report. It's getting pretty obvious that the internet just likes building Houston into a villain. Whatever.

 

Which can be said of all the D-Mo quotes we are hearing. I really hate tweets, there is never any context.

On top of that whatever D-Mo said was probably not in english and translation can be hard for many people. we all remember the brilliant 'articles' about the Rockets from China when Yao played for us.

 

wow. not the same at all...but nice try. sure, they dont have to eat every meal together, but he used it as an example to substantiate the "hi and bye," behavior.

If other players feel like dmo then it could mean a locker room prob. But they all have something to play for even if they arent besties so i'm not too worried. but its worse if other people around the league wouldnt want to come here because of the harden-howard culture that the media is putting out there

Wow what a pile of crap. How many times did we see team sleep videos on instagram? Or you know all of Dwight's videos showing them at dinner? I distinctly remember the whole team at a dinner while Dwight is recording them and Beverly is getting in the way trying to get followers. Media has turned to garbage nowadays. Well since i am lithuanian I can say that that tweet is a complete bs.

Firstly, all of his recent tweets (regarding his frienship with Lin and his 40 bad games) including this: "Dwight Howard and James Harden eat separately from rest of Rockets", were tweeted in similar time, and were all just quotes from a radio show interview https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=386HValVYKg

Secondly, that Simonas Baranauskas guy mistranslated this so bad, i am actually thinking he did this on purpose, to have some sensational story. In that radio show interview D-mo actually said that his relationship with Dwight and Harden is basically is just greeting and then saying goodbye. Then he was asked why is that. Then D-mo replied that they are just not meeting that often since they are eating in different places. Fun fact, D-mo didn't mention "team" in any context in this sentence.

must be a millionaire class thing. since most rockets players under morey are on cheap contracts, they must have bad personal hygiene. dwignt and james are trying to eat but its cant be easy with the strong stench of unshowered minimum contract nba players n the air. i bet some of them even take ****s after the game and still dont shower.
