I'd argue that I was already paying for it since my bill stayed the same when the teams left FSSW. In the end, I'd pay a little more too.
I'm assuming they'll put it in with the U200 package and up. U200 seems to be where they begin to include regional sports channels.
Im sure this has been asked already, but how soon can I watch the Astros? Can I watch the Phillies game tonight?
As soon as you have Comcast installed at your home or as soon as you drive to someplace where the game is being shown. From the timelines outlined from Barron's tweets, I wouldn't even plan on having on watching the early portion of the Rockets schedule.
sorry..forgot to include it http://northwest.rootsports.com/ I do that with email attachments sometimes too.
Can we make an Astros fan pact not to quote the brand-new infestation to this forum? I finally had to use ignore (and no, I'm not talking about anyone who has been regularly posting before today). TIA!
Judging from the Barron tweets, should all be done by the start of the NBA regular season. Might miss some preseason games though
Nothing in this process has ever really held to any rational or projected timeline thus far. There's little reason to expect this one to. They have 21 days just to figure out how much Comcast's $100MM loan is worth. Then Comcast has the choice to make it's own proposal, or fight the current one, or negotiate different terms. There's no reason at all that it should have taken this long to get to this first-offer point, but from here, things could reasonably drag out quite a bit while negotiating details.
I will tell you, I had Root NW as part of an out of market package before. Based on my experience with Root NW, if this becomes Root Houston, you guys are going to LOVE it.
