The RG job really really belongs to Brooks. It's been assumed that Jones and Su'a-Filo are fighting for the LG job. Jones has the edge being a vet and with Su'a-Filo missing a lot of rookie mini camp because of UCLA's semester schedule. What's surprising is that Kupper is getting the start on Saturday. But seeing as how this is one of the games where the starters play the least, Su'a-Filo may get more time out there as LG with the 2's then if he were playing with the 1's.
That's not really a safe assumption, sure we're stuck with Hologram at RT, but with a legit blocking TE to give him some help, it shouldn't be THAT bad and Brooks was one of the better RTs in football last season. Depth is really the biggest concern, we can't have any of our O linemen go down because we are really thin there.

I think he's pulling this out without real sources. The Patriots are shopping Mallet right now, so it would make sense for the Texans to "talk".
Yeah but since Mallett is almost certainly going to be either cut in less than a month or walk in FA after the season, why would the Texans trade anything at all for him?
I dont think they should...just pointing out that this Drew character is full of crap. He's making a statement purely off of the fact that there were reports of Mallett and the Texans earlier this summer...and now the Patriots are shopping him, so it must make sense! The guy is a dope.
Winston's father keeps insisting that his son isn't going pro. So he may not be an option. And I doubt the Patriots drafted Jimmy to trade him when Mallet is about to be a free agent.
Then I say we stand pat and let Fitz manage for a season and then mentor Marriotta, Hundley, or Penny next season. I don't think Mallet has it otherwise they wouldn't have drafted Jimmy G
Winston isn't even that good of a QB prospect anyways... evaluators will notice his flaws. Elongated throwing motion, not as athletic as people say, inconsistent accuracy, etc. Mariota is 10x the talent
