Yeah, the Cavs are making Flip Saunders look like a great GM right now.

If he kicks himself it will be with a very expensive pair of shoes. But, I agree in the sense that Carmelo, Bosh and George will now go 5 years without getting even close to a finals appearance. For a second there parity had been restored to the East, now we're back to Lebron's team vs. everybody else. I hope Rose is really fully recovered.

I can't wait for the LeBron fans to make excuses for him when Love puts up Bosh(Heat) #'s on the Cavs and Irvings #s go down while actual Bosh and Wade #s will go up in Miami this year. HIS TEAMMATES SUCK!!1

Perhaps maybe people will one day see that LeBron style doesn't really make players better like a Magic Johnson. People fall in love with physical attributes. He's simply just not better than Magic or Bird and i think it's ridiculous that he's already placed above them to so many. "What have you done for me lately" attitude i guess. Skill trumps speed power and vertical. That's why Jordan is GOAT. Ultimate skill + ultimate physical abilities.

Don't get me wrong, Bron Bron is top 10 and much better overall player than Kobe, but if i got Timmy, Kobe, and LeBron all at 25 or younger, i still think i take Duncan over those 2 to build my team around and still come away with more rings.

He'll be better than Bosh offensively for Lebron, along with rebounding the ball.

But I think he lacks the defensive prowess that Bosh provided, which was underrated, esp. with the pick and roll.

But the Cavs had to do this deal. They're pretty much guaranteeing a trip to the Finals for the next 5 years, barring injuries. You gotta do it. It's the easiest decision there is.

    Wolves made out just fine.

Some say Love put up 'fake stats'. But it looks like the T'wolves could make a run for worst record in the West next year.

This is a bigger superteam than Miami. It's gonna be nasty on the league.

I don't think they would be that mad. They got Wiggins for Love who was going to leave. That's a successful season already. Tank for Jahil.

Nope, but he is a star, right?

Forget championship or the playoffs, the Wolves have NEVER HAD A WINNING SEASON while he was there! Wolves are going into their 10th season since they've had a winning season. Kevin Love there for 6 of those 9 years.

James Harden, who sucks, doesn't play defense, plays for the whistle, and should be traded (for Kevin Love)...
    CF told us this

...Year one with the Rockets(no training camp), 45-37, coached by the worst coach ever in Kevin McHale.
    CF also told us this

    Beverley/Lin/Brooks
    Harden/Anderson
    Garcia
    Parsons/Delfino/Jones/Robinson/Motiejunas/White
    Asik/Smith/Ohlbrecht

Lost 2-4 to OKC in the first round

    Since Adelman took over:

    2011-12:
    Ricky Rubio/J.J. Barea
    Luke Ridnour/Martell Webster/Wayne Ellington/Malcolm Lee
    Wes Johnson/Michael Beasley/Anthony Tolliver
    Kevin Love/Derrick Williams/Anthony Randolph
    Nikola Pekovic/Darko Milicic/Brad Miller

26-40, no winning season, no playoffs

    2012-13:
    Ricky Rubio/J.J. Barea
    Luke Ridnour/Alexey Shved/Malcolm Lee/Brandon Roy
    Andrei Kirilenko/Chase Budinger/Mickael Gelabale
    Kevin Love/Derrick Williams/Chris Johnson/Dante Cunningham
    Nikola Pekovic/Greg Stiemsma

31-51, no winning season, no playoffs

    2013-14:
    Ricky Rubio/J.J. Barea/A.J. Price
    Kevin Martin/Alexey Shved/Othyus Jeffers
    Corey Brewer/Luc Mbah a Moute/Chase Budinger/Shabazz Muhammad
    Kevin Love/Dante Cunningham/Robbie Hummel
    Nikola Pekovic/Gorgui Dieng/Ronny Turiaf

40-42, no winning season, no playoffs

I bet he puts up good numbers on a good team next season...
He doesn't have to make his teammates better, LeBron does that.
He'll be in plenty of big games alongside LeBron.
    A. I bet his FG% improves. B. I don't think it'll matter.

We will see how good he really is... I'm thinking... still a top 3 PF.

If Minnesota is going to go with Wiggins and aim for a high pick, I wonder if they would be willing to twade Wicky Wubio to the Wockets. He will be a wistwicted fwee agent next summer. Wolves can match NBA offers but he can thweaten to leave for Spain of he doesn't want to stay on a sucky team.

you think they might do a Rubio trade in exchange for an international box office attraction plus first round pick?

oh wait, we don't have that because we needed Bosh.

    oh wait... :*(

We have a season to see if he is worth it and then either twy to keep him or pursue other fwee agents like Gowan Dwagic or Wajon Wondo.

In a league of amazing PG play, why is everyone so infatuated with Rubio? He does excel at a solid skill, but is so bad in other areas, he's an average PG at the end of the day. Not to mention he is GOD-AWFUL in crunch time.

    http://www.82games.com/1314/13MIN2.HTM

With 5 minutes or less in the game his shooting percentage DROPPED, to 29%, and his team was -71 in those minutes he played.... over a 48 minute game would net out to -25. That is HORRIBLE.

And this guy might want a near max deal? PLEASE.

For all the b****ing about Kevin Love's win-loss record in Minnesota, the reason the TWovles didn't do better this year and potentially make the playoffs can be attributed almost directly to Rubio, and to Adelman's coast job as a coach. There was only one team worse in the 4th quarter... Detroit. Keep in mind, the TWolves had the 9th best offensive rating and 12th best defensive rating overall last year... just not in the 4th quarter. Why? Because defending them is easy in crunch time. Leave Rubio open. Makes him less likely to create and more likely to miss open jumpers.

There's a reason why Goran Dragic is so sought after amongst Rockets fans. He is a solid average defender. He can create and dish when required, and he can also play the 2 and shoot, as a 40% three point shooter last year with a 60% true shooting percentage.

To make a long post longer... as for the Cavs and Love. I can see them getting out of the East for sure. But I think they'd be less likely to win the Finals, at least this first year, then either a healthy Bulls team, or last year's Heat. It's just an experience, defense and matchups issue. So while I could see the Cavs and a healthy Bulls team having a tough fought series, and either team prevailing but my money is probably on the Cavs, you then get them in that Finals, another even tougher series, no playoff experience outside of Lebron, and you're asking a lot against a Spurs, Thunder, Clippers type squad (even Warriors, or Rockets).
