But he was 4th in assists per game and 2nd in steals per game. He can't hit a backboard but he was contributing in other ways.

They also had a Kevin Martin that scored 19 points per game and hitting 38% from 3.

LeBron should be the one moving to Minnesota rather than the other way around.

According to stats the Wolves were supposed to have finished with a 48-34 record which would have put them right in the 8th seed fight last year. Unfortunately they underwhelmed and finished 40-42. I guess Love didn't beast enough.

What they need now is to somehow nab Larry Sanders from the Bucks. They would be scary good.

I don't think anyone here is dismissing that Love is a great player. I sure don't but that tweet you posted is trying to paint a picture of a player that is so great that he should have positioned his team to be in the playoffs year in, year out.

James Harden, for all of his defensive inefficiencies, got the Rockets into the playoffs his first year with the team.

Coaching aside, Love should have been able to at least get his team into the conversation for the 8th seed last year but couldn't even muster that.

That I can agree with. He is one of my least favorite "superstar" because for me his is not a "winner". Empty stats if you will. He will never be a #1 on a championship team. But some folks are acting like he won't be a helluva #2/3 option on a team with Lebron as #1 option. The guy can ball, and since he is put on a championship calliber team where the superstar holds everyone accountable, im sure we will see much better defense and overall play from Love.

It's not, but it's the sport where one player has the biggest impact and I can't think of any superstar that went 6 seasons without sniffing the playoffs. Anyone that lived through the Dream era knows how much impact one great player can have when he is on a garbage team.

With the amount of money that man is set to make over the next few years, I sincerely doubt it. He went for the cash grab and is content with his choice, I would believe.

Exactly. He puts up good numbers on a bad team. Not exactly all the indication you need to determine how good the guy really is. Does he make his teammates better? How many big games has he been in? He's a PF that barley shoots 45%. We'll see how really good he is when he gets to CLE

He didn't start his first two years and didn't even play in the 2012/13 season. KG missed the playoffs three straight years. Is KG not a superstar? Moses Malone? Barkley? What about Kareem?
