    Bledsoe/Dragic somehow.
    Allen and then Okafor.

    Hell yes.
Realistically its probably just going to be Okafor...

Yup, Ray Allen and Marion are definitely off to Cavs and we are stuck with rookies and terrible players.

It makes sense for them. Cavs have 3 stars, we have two and the Cavs play in the East. We play in the hardest divison in the NBA

Yeah I doubt Allen comes here now! If we want to sign anyone our best bet at this point is Greg Monroe maybe. Even then I doubt that happens. Just don't see how we would pull it off. This is probably the team that we will be running with going into the season.

I can't think of one good reason why Allen would choose us over Cleveland.

Money, but that's it. He has to play for the minimum in Cleveland unless a sign and trade is worked out with Miami.

Still, it was always a longshot since he and Lebron are very close and he stated a desire to continue to play with Lebron wherever he ended up as soon as free agency opened.

It's baffling that people can't grasp this concept. Ray Allen's own words, from literally this week:

A lot of teams want to be able to get me at the veteran’s minimum,” he said. “I still have an ego, too. I still have a service to provide, and teams still have to pay me what I feel my presence is worth.

I have not leaned toward Cleveland. I have not made any mention of going to Cleveland.

You trust something Chris "50-50" Broussard said he heard weeks ago over common sense and what Ray Allen directly said two days ago? Your prerogative, I suppose.

I could see folks believing the Love trade would clear a spot for Allen if there was no Shawn Marion (the "weeks ago" status). But Marion and Allen are each still competitors and productive players, and it's hard to fathom one of them taking both A) the minimum and B) never even playing.

Not sure if you are being sarcastic, but I'm pretty sure ElPigto was.

Ha, my bad if so. Just getting a little fatigued of all the "Player X to Cleveland" talk, without giving any consideration to normal desires for money or (some) playing time.

For the record, I do think Allen could end up in Cleveland, but I think it would be a P.J. Brown-to-Boston scenario (midseason). If all he's going to get is the minimum and no guaranteed rotation spot, then he'll likely pull the veteran move of sparing himself training camp and the grind of a full season. Perhaps one of the other Cleveland wings gets traded or injured by a later date, too.

Didn't melo also say "im about winning" yea right. these players just say whatever to continue being courted in case some one pulls a Cuban and offers him an astounding offer. He wouldn't show his hand.

What was the end result for Melo? He followed the money. That's the trend...

Ray Allen is obviously better than Troy Daniels but they take up the same minutes in the rotation. Neither can really play backup SF.

We should just cancel the season, right? Just save the electricity in the Toyota Center, if we don't get Allen and Marion.
