Rumor: Cleveland has deal in place for Love (Wiggins potentially involved)

I mean, on paper, Twolves came out golden. I mean, who else has every gotten two of the most recent first overall picks for a disgruntled star? When have two consecutive 1st and second year overall first picks not only been drafted together, but traded together, while both are Canadian!! All types of weird stuff going on in that trade.

 

What happened in LA was not surprising considering the age of Kobe and Nash, and the personalities of Kobe and Howard. If LeBron has some crazy injury that would be surprising.

 

Love and Kyrie will go down with injuries this season mark my words. They doesn't have a great track record of staying healthy.

 

Another thing to remember: LeBron is also a free agent next summer (player option). If things go South in Cleveland, LeBron and Love can both pick up and leave, maybe even go together to the same team.

 

Interesting thought... won't (gulp).... L.A. have a TON of cap room next year!?!

 

Is it me, or does it seem like the NBA forsaw Lebron coming back to Cleveland? How many number 1 picks did Cleveland magically recieve since Lebron left? Interesting

 

I guess this good for the raptors. Does Wiggins really want to play for the wolves?

 

Huge difference. Kobe, Gasol, Nash, Artest where all old as **** as apposed to Irving, Waiters, Love, Thompson and Lebron(only 29 compared to 33/4 year old Kobe) all being super young, they had a bad coach, terrible chemistry (because of Kobe) and Howard was fresh off a injury that never fully healed until he became a Rocket.

The lakers where a prime example of why the nets were going to be a bust, this is different though.

 

Timberwolves made out like CHAMPS. I don't understand how you can come away with 2 first overall picks (one of them being Wiggins) and another first rounder for a guy that announced publicly that he wasn't going to resign with you...

 

He has no choice for 4 years.

 

I think Lebron is done with the free agency island hopping like that, going back to the Cavs was his last move for at least the next 4-5 years IMO.


If Lebron seriously does this, I personally predict that he will be assassinated by a Cavs fan.

A star trading finally brings equal value back (I think Wiggins will pan out and be a superstar).

 

TT, DW, and AB are not that good. The Cavs are lucky that Lebron was born there.

 

not meaning to be a troll in any way, and you're definitely right, we still have a few months to go.

what worries me is the future. particularly dwight. it's no secret that he gets constantly discouraged at teams winning a title over and over again. how much is he willing to wait before we are in contention again?

again this is a premature post (pending we make a major move), but after hearing rumors of trying to target love to come to the rockets, it sucks that it's cleveland. it's just our luck that bosh would re sign when we had just as an optimal situation here in houston.

in hindsight, i wish we traded parsons a long time ago.
