That selfie says enough about Dorsey, he's not going to perform on the court because he's busy playing with his flashlight too much.

developing his technique... he knew how to do a hook, but not efficiently. He was a rook. This was nothing new. Players adjust their shot all of the time. If he continued with that Hook, then he will be in good shape. I remember this video too.

Agreed. He's a 3rd string back up. We're screwed if he is our primary bigman off the bench.

I'm guessing TJ and DMo will split primary backup 5 duties, the same way they did for the 90% of the season Asik didn't play last year.

I see Dmo filling in as the starter if Howard is hurt. Dorsey will be the backup no matter what.

Probably just me, but if were talking strictly offense, I think Dmo MIGHT be an upgrade over Dwight. We of course lose a lot on defense, but when Dmo is able to work as the main big in the paint I think he can be pretty productive.

And people tried to justify this signing this guy.

If Morey Cuts Adrien over Dorsey

Dorsey is a better guy to have on the team than Adrien IMO. Adrien was better on offense but Dorsey was a much bigger defensive threat. Averaging 1 block in only 12mpg  That's elite rim protection right there.

The difference between Dorsey and Adrien is that Dorsey plays center.

Still all about the dollars huh Leslie? You just knew Dorsey was not going anywhere and know we going to keep Ish too? Our FO continues to baffle me, can we good guys around for once?! Glad the media is ****ting on us! Even if Garcia stays, his name is already out there so you think that will sit well with him? I'd be pissed I was even considered when you still have 3 incompetent guys on the team: Capela, Dorsey & Ish. Heck, I'd be pissed if I were Harden. Who is still here from his 1st season: TJ, D-Mo & Garcia. All about that turnover, just another asset..

Honestly our defense looked better without Dwight, but with Ariza replacing Parsons, than it did last year with sulky, whiny, miss over half the games Asik.

The difference between Adrein and Dorsey is between their ears. Adrein is a smarter and a more reliable player than Dorsey.

ugh in the preseason alone how many times did we already see dorsey catch the ball in the paint, freeze up with no idea what to do next, and then attempt a foolish interior pass -- turnover.

    Well said. I agree.
Dorsey is a big time liability on offense. So no matter how great his defense is, the other team can play 5 on 4 all day. The guy seemed to turn it over every time he got the ball in the post.
If he can at least show a 5 foot turn around jump shot or hook shot fine, but from what I saw, it's a mistake keeping him.
His defense is fine, but damn his offense is horrid at best.
