I have no idea what the plan is here. That bulk is a big part of why lebron is completely unstoppable going to the rim, so there is a plan here that I cant figure out. Is he going to start operating from the pinch post more? Less contact?

It has a high glycemic index which loosely means that bread theoretically contributes to stored fat.

I'm interested in seeing what difference it makes to Lebron on the court.

His skin looks a lot healthier - but damn that's a LOT of weight.

How will athletes maintain stamina with no carbs and sugar? Most atkins programs emphasize healthy fats but what will a lebron diet realistically look like?

Lebron was so dominant b/c he was a crazy combination of speed, size, and strength. I think a lot people are concerned that this decrease in size (and possibly strength), would make him perform less effectively on the court---especially since he was never really known as a finesse player.

He shoots 57% from the field the past 2 years, and 38% from 3s. His midrange J is one of the best in the league.

He pretty much scorched the Spurs without even getting to the FT line.

Instead of being 270-280 lbs, he's 260. He's still HUGE for his position.

He will be playing less of the 4 with the Cavs, and he needed to lose weight to regain his elite defense.

He got tired very frequently last year, and I think that's why he wanted to lose weight.

    I don't think he's truly no-carb.
My guess is low/no-carb on non-game days and high-carb intake on game days.

Either that or LeBron is going to suck next year. You can't just do away with carbs and expect to perform athletically. Maybe if he wasn't an athlete and just a 9-5 worker then he'd be fine, but I have my doubts about whether this diet is sustainable.

The cutting of the Carbs is only for the offseason, naturally you can't cut carbs out during the season. Ray Allen does the same thing in the offseason.

I think this make more sense. Maybe he does it so he doesn't put on weight in the offseason without as much activity.

Aren't there NBA players that show up to training camp out of shape because their diet becomes filled with junk in the offseason and minimum excercise
