Count me in the group that will be rooting for Wiggins to become a superstar. I don't hate Lebron, but I do feel as though he left Dan Gilbert off really easy. Gilbert said things that you would have thought Donald Sterling said after Lebron left. Hard to root for the organization after that. And now Wiggins is basically just an asset to get Kevin Love and he hasn't even played a regular season game. I do feel bad for Wiggins although it is a business. And for all the outrage that Lebron got for forming the super friends in Miami, this Cleveland team is going to be far more talented than any team he's been on.
Their goal isn't to make the NBA Finals. Sure, if they want to get rid of all their depth to clear capspace. Then they end up in the Miami situation of a Big 3 and filler. Right now, they can have him without that, albeit at the steep price of Wiggins. But the goal is a championship ASAP - and Lebron, Kyrie, and Love has a decent chance of bringing you that. Get Love and you have a 4 year window right now. Trade away everyone you have to clear capspace and you have a shorter window with a team lacking depth. This type of thinking is a lot of fan nonsense. Players don't run away form competition or flock to east to have an easier route to the NBA Finals. If they all did that, the East wouldn't be so weak. They tend to chase the money. Kevin Love isn't going to risk not signing an extension now with a good team where he's happy and risk a major injury or anything like that in the hopes of signing with Cleveland in a year just to play with Lebron.
Minnesota also wants to swing Thad Young in the deal, so probably end up being Bennett gets shipped to Philly in the deal, along with a pick (probably from Cleveland) and Minnesota ends up with Wiggins & Young. Wouldn't be surprised if Shved is traded to Cavs too since he played for Blatt.
lol, shved was blatt's favorite whipping boy on team russia. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/YMa_5CZHars?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
This guy right here (Khryapa) is probably the best PF in Europe since Mirotic is now with the Bulls. Good shoooter, can stretch the floor, and can defend.
Didn't Windhorst and Broussard say Bosh to Houston was done if LeBron leaves Miami? Seriously people continue to believe these so-called "insiders"????

Love gives them a good chance to win. Consistent points. More than he had in Miami. They can win the title with that team. Lebron is enough. Finals will be the test as Houston and OK city will equal match.
i think its the Zach Lowe interview with Blatt that he talks about him being his whipping boy and always telling him to cut his "Hippie Hair". after some time past he realised that the only way his team is gonna get the ball past half way was by Shved taking over. thus he changed his stance on him and said grow your hair as long as you want
Hinkie is a genius if the Sixers are swapping Thaddeus Young for Bennett and a pick. Wolves are still going to miss the playoffs so that pick is going to be late teens. Guy is doing the best rebuilding/tank job I've ever seen. Racking up young talent and picks even with their trades despite not having the luxury of picking first. Anthony Bennett has worked hard all summer, lost weight, looked good in summer league, will get tons of minutes and a great coach for his development. If he pans out, he becomes part of an awesome young PF/C trio with Embiid and Noel. Just loving what Hinkie is doing. I thought tanking for two years would really wear on Sixers fans, but with the way things are going they can't complain. If they pick up a strong Free Agent next summer - when I suspect they will start filling up that salary cap - they will quickly shoot up the playoff ladder in the East.
I agree. I also wouldn't be surprised if the 76ers ended up with Wiggins and the Timberwolves got Noel and Young from Philly and maybe one of the many 76ers 2nd round picks or lesser prospects. Either way, Minnesota is making a dumb move and overpaying for Young, and Hinkie is doing a great job.
Pick will come from the Cavs, Wolves have the best piece in this trade, they won't give up additional assets but force Clevelands hand to give up their pick or that Miami pick.
Okay so for the next couple of years we have the eastern conference finals team locked up--the cavs...who will come out on top from the west? fingers crossed but....yeah
