Rose..Wade..Parker..Duncan..Gasol... Come on bro. You'd trade a rising star in Harden - the best at his position for a injury riddled Rose and Wade. You'd trade James Harden for Marc Gasol?
Thanks Carl for your interest in my post. the irony is that their skills are being compared in this thread and now due to injury (where both of them were involved in the play), PG is out and their play will not and cannot be compared for 18 mos. Irony in the sense of "wow, next year we will have a beautiful discussion of Harden vs PG - when it is actually going to be a terrible discussion of Harden vs PG b/c of his injury." Kind of a reach but oh well, if that doesn't work - then it's more like Alanis Morissette irony
Eh I gotta go with Carlos here. The Harden v. George debate ended last year around January when George showed the world that he was on....Chandler Parsons level. Pretty much the sign that Indystunna was the only monkey posting here gave that away
If Harden improves his defense like it looks like he wants to (still a huge 'if'), then this thread will be utterly laughable.
Man, Paul George is turning into a real scumbag <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/elUtcqcW6Fw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Since PG's offense improved to an all-star level, it was clear that Harden had to dramatically improve his defense to be of more value. Sad that Harden doesn't seem to be willing to focus on defense at all, right now he's losing value a lot.
A good analogy would be Tim Duncan and Nowitzki in their primes. Nowitzki might be slightly better on the offensive end, but Duncan is by far the better player.
George > Harden Harden is roadkill if he's not shooting well or getting whistles. George gives defense effort every night, making him a better player and much better leader than POS Harden. The pot stir sucks too.
I'll tell you what though. Harden better not break his leg like that. With his questionable effort in games itself who know how long it would take him to regain old form.
