Best place to get High...............Quality Audio?

I just spend some $$ on high end audio and headset.

I want to do them justice by listening to music the way it was meant to be heard.

Anyone know where I can pay for music in high definition audio?

My genres are rock and progressive trance.

In other words, you got ripped off by purchasing headphones and now blaming it on the audio.

I have looked at them. Limited selection.

For example, they only have one or two U2 albums. I would like all of them. They dont have anything by Enigma which I am after as well.

Knew very well what I was getting myself into. You dont spend $1500 on a headset without knowing what you are after. ;)

I have always had good audio setup for my living room and I want a similar setup on the go, since I will be traveling a lot this coming year. I have been playing CDs through my receiver but since my new receiver can stream digital, I would love some high quality digital tracks that I can play off the receiver as well as on the go.

Have you looked at that player Neil Young created? Supposedly really high quality audio. Pono music player.

Well maybe it's not all rolled out yet.

That looks really good. I think I will pre-order one.

I am concerned about the music library selection though.

It says on kickstarter that the music store goes live at launch, October 2014. I guess we will see soon enough!

Were you after being able to brag on how much your headphones cost you on a forum?

I don't think it's too hard to get full CD quality streaming anymore.

    http://www.marcurselli.com/2014/03/...g-vs-play-music-by-google-vs-rdio-vs-spotify/

Pandora on the Web plays 64k AAC+ for free listeners and 192kbps for Pandora One subscribers. All in-home devices play 128kbps audio, and mobile devices receive a variety of different rates depending on the capability of the device and the network they are on, but never more than 64k AAC+.

    16 bit /44.1kHz is CD and is technically < 24 bit / 192 kHz.

Going out on a limb, no one over 40 can hear the difference as they have lost so much of their hearing.

Yes, FLAC is one of the options but where (with a large selection)?

The places I have looked at so far have limited selection.

Download RealPlayer. Last time I checked, they're the gold standard.
