But it is your belief that they are children. Others do not think they are children. Can't you understand that to those of us who do not agree with your belief that all you are doing is forcing your beliefs onto this woman.

Can't you for a moment understand how a single cell isn't considered a human being by others? If you aren't willing to at least understand the other side, you are the definition of narrow-minded.

Of course I can. I've admitted many times to "stepping on" a woman's "rights" in favor of the life of an innocent little girl in utero. There are bigger fish to fry. I guess you are blinded because I've admitted that that hundreds of times. Quit portraying that I don't UNDERSTAND.

Your belief forces by virtue of allowing/permitting/ the death of a child. Since you won't admit to that, which one of us is really narrow-minded?

Not at all, I understand you believe that you think a single cell is a child. I don't have a problem with your belief. I don't think it's morally wrong and all that. I don't judge you.

What I do think is horribly wrong is for you to try to tell another woman what she can do to her body because of your belief. THat what happens in her body is your business because your religion tells you. That to me is awful.

It's not about a woman's right. It's about controlling others for your ends.

Damn, back on the religion train I see. Get informed... I've been on this track for a decade before I revisited church on any kind of regular basis. QUIT dredging that up as some kind of attempted insult, please.

You stop short. I have no desire to control others, but I will if it means saving a life. You do the same... just not on this issue. Look at all the gun issues.

I think it is horribly wrong that we have law that allows any woman to do that causally to another human being.

How is protecting innocent life a devious "end?"

Without religion you would not have that belief. You can lie to yourself all you want. But atheists are not pro-life.

You do have a desire to control others. That desire is so you can implement your moral framework onto the world. You want to tell a woman what she can do inside her body and force her to do something whether she wants it or not.

There is no point to continued debate with you. Your views are simply not inline - they would constitute taking a person decision and letting a bunch of religious fanatics decide. Fortunately, we are a democracy and can fight against views like yours and keep gov't out of the uterus.

    http://www.godlessprolifers.org/home.html and http://www.prolifehumanists.org/ .... to get started.

Be careful making empty claims. BTW, those are among the first couple of links for a search that yielded 1.5 Million results.

Did you see my link to the pro-Life feminists... another group that I was told did not exist?

Boy that is a grand statement to base upon a single issue!

Is expecting people to drive the speed limit, to not should FIRE in a crowded theatre, to not rape our women, and to not steal from me also a desire to control others.

I have a need to save innocent lives; if that means an unwelcome intrusion, I will do that. Can't think of another instance where I would traipse thusly.

Matters not to me how you feel. I do what I do; you do what you do.

My rationality is showing. Many of your ignorant claims are untrue, inaccurate and not thought out or evidenced.

Except you think it is a life. You have no way to say when life begins or not. That is your belief. A belief you impose upon others because you deem it's ok to take someone's right to make decisions about their body - the most personal thing there is.

You need to change your statement to, "I have a need to intrude upon people and save what I believe is a life even though many others do not agree with me. My believe however trumps their belief even though I am not 100% sure I am right"

No one is 100% sure they are right. They are only 100% sure of what they want.

I'm 100% sure that my stance averts the death of a young innocent.

I'm way less concerned about stepping on someone's toes.

"First do no harm." This is the pledge of our medical doctors. Oops.

Doesn't matter. You believe a zygote is a child, and other believe it is not. You will fight to impose your belief upon others. And I will fight against you.

    Be my guest.

I can show you all your midjudgments and all you can say is "Doesn't matter."

    Well it matters very much.

If you are not 100% sure you are right but 100% sure of what you want, then you can be 100% sure you want to averts the death of a young innocent, but you can't be 100% sure that your stance actually averts the death of a young innocent.

"First do no harm". A person that is being forced to make a decision she doesn't want is being harm. I think we can be 100% sure of that, can we?

You have only shown how distorted of a reality you live in.

    1. It's of her own doing

    2. "Do no harm" refers to medical practice

You tell me there are no atheist pro-lifers; I show you a community of them.

Someone else tells me there are no feminist pro-lifers: I show them a community of them.

You don't agree with me so you call my world view "distorted."

I don't agree with you and I call your world view "short-sighted."

Fetus in Latin means "little one" not "clump of cells."

How can a straight-forward world be distorted?

There is no atheist that thinks a zygote is filled with a life force and a child.

You don't get to be the decider of when life begins. You are not god.

Fortunately our laws are not determined by you.

I guess you think you are really good at speaking... for other people. You have no proof of these claims you make; they are just your own wish fulfillment.

And you get to decide when someone's life begins AND ends? Now THAT IS DISTORTED because you are not God but you insist on acting like you are.

I'm not trying to play God; I'm trying to NOT interfere with the natural course of events. Any other interpretation is just hostility on your part.

Not necessary. Rape, incest, contraception failure to name a few that comes to mind. Even if it's her own doing and she changes her mind, it is still forcing her to do something that she doesn't want. Her decision to have / risk having a baby and then changes her mind doesn't give anyone more of a right or an excuse for forcing her.

Harm is not believed to be done by medical practitioner that don't believe it's a baby. Certainly, forcing a women is causing harm to the women.

Well, of course, we've talked about those rare exceptions before. Let's keep the main thing the main thing.

Carrying the child to term is the natural course of events. All else is some trumped up agenda-- except health of the mother. Now there is a choice and some mothers would take great risk to see that child born.
