didn't know anything about the movie heading in but I saw andy dwyer and marvel and gave it a shot. Loved it.
didn't know nebula was in this flick, but considering thanos is at the end of the road, it makes sense. dope. xd and 3d tomorrow for me.
Watched it in DBOX 3D at Palladium tonight. Awesome! Some of the laughs were so hard from the crowd that is was sometimes hard to hear what all was being said. So many memorable moments. I think my favorite moment was the Chris Pratt dance off. 9.5/10 One of my favorite movies in a while. Will watch multiple times.
Yep it's my favorite movie of the last 3 years. Go out and see it!!!! Anyone who grew up in the 80s must stay after the end credits!!!
the music, love that everybody is digging it, and yes, sporting the old school Sony Walkman and orange headphones has a nice touch
Hell yeah dude!! I will find it hard to believe if anyone on here did not like it. In fact, I'd love to hear what your thoughts are on why you didn't like the film.
Awesome movie for so many reasons, most of which have already been stated. Spoiler THANOS! And seriously, what was up with all the hot Nova Corps girls??
Not sure if it's been said but Spoiler Thanos is such a badass! I didn't expect him to have such a significant role in this movie let alone get as much screen time as he did. I didn't realize it was Josh Brolin playing him. Even a better surprise.
I really had no interest in this movie at first (even though I support Chris Pratt and Batista --as a Parks and Rec and WWE fan), but the last couple of trailers plus all the reviews have made me decide to watch it this weekend. Glad to hear its a good mix of comedy and action.
This review seems to go against everyone. http://www.impulsegamer.com/guardians-of-the-galaxy-3d-film-review/
There's always going to be 1 idiot. I'll trust the 92% off Rotten Tomatoes after 150 reviews over some rando. Also look at this thread alone, I've yet to see a movie come out that has universal praise -- and yet no one here has had a negative thing to say. There's TECHNICALLY a scene at the very end before the credits roll, which I think a lot of people will like. Then there's a singular after credit scene.
Me and a buddy of mine are thinking about seeing this in IMAX 3D too. Any dissenters? Anybody think it's unnecessary for 3D? In College Station, the regular 2D price is $4.25, IMAX 3D is $12.50, and DBox 3D is like, $14.50. Just curious if it's worth it to shell out an extra 8 bucks.
