So we got a MLB ready OF, the 1-6 from last year AND a comp pick for Cosart and Kike?

    Luhnow is the f***ing man.

Moran and Marisnick were ranked as the number 2 and 3 prospects respectively in the Marlins system coming into this year. Adding a comp pick to the deal only makes it that much better.

that MLB ready OF has as many AB's as Kike, and his numbers are far worse. Granted, he's only 23...but...

Comp pic is certainly intriguing. We used ours this year to get Derek Fisher (37th overall). I hope it is Colin Moran and not Collin Moran

It makes me nervous that the Marlins wanted him so bad because they know pitching. I could see this ending up really bad.

I'll say the same thing about Luhnow that I say about Morey. Show me you can build a team.

Which, in both cases, is a relatively small sample size. You could say Kike was just as lucky as Marisnick may have been unlucky.

This doesn't look good on paper at all. I am really wondering if Cosart was the main guy b****ing about Appel's bulllpen session last week.

Moran was being discussed at 1.1 last year. Hate to lose Kiki but there's your high-ceiling 3rd baseman prospect.

He was never considered a high ceiling prospect. More of a safe prospect.

Tools + age make him an attractive player to 'gamble' on. If he figures it out we could be looking at a Hunter Pence, Adam Jones type player. (Or he's another one of those AAAA guys.)

Farewell and good luck to Kike- became a fan favorite as an over-looked July call up. A feat in itself
