Are you getting the right year? In 2012-13 he shot 44/32/75 and averaged 14.7 and 7.4. He started 77 of 77 games for the Suns. And where is the 90 coming from? He's a lifetime .747 from the charity stripe. Goran was a stud last year though. Assists went down but everything else was pretty high.
I'm talking his production as a Rocket starter. He shot 84% from FT line as a starter. You are welcome to look at the splits yourself. That elite production was about the same sample size that Linsanity occurred over, but on a team that was fighting for playoff spot in the West. In my mind it was as good, if not better, a prediction of future success than the 20-odd game Linsanity run. You can't compare stats if one player is continually improving as a starter, which Dragic is, while Lin has been essentially stagnant or even declining. But even if you were to ignore the fact that Dragic has been on an upward trajectory, here are career splits as a starter Lin FG .442 3P .351 14.4 ppg 3.1 rpg 6.0 apg Ortg 105 Drtg 107 Dragic FG .478 3P .367 17.4 ppg 3.4 rpg 6.9 apg Ortg 115 Drtg 110 They don't have split PER or win shares or I would post them, since O/D rating are so dependent on countless other factors. But there is no scenario here in which Lin is the better player as a starter.

Everyone becomes a fan of a team for a reason. Either born in the city, Dad liked them, college player from their school, etc. I am an avid fan of whatever team I root for. It killed me just like it did you when Lillard made that shot. I enjoyed being a Rockets and wished that the circumstances were different. Oddly, I wasn't all that upset with his role as a 6th man. I was more upset that McHale is a brain-dead game manager. You guys have gotten rid of what you thought was a problem...but in reality your issue is still the coach. Don't get me wrong, I understand the over-exuberance of Lin fans. And I get why you guys are glad he and his fans are gone. But as an honest and unbiased opinion...until you get a coach that will rein in Harden, you'll likely be in for more disappointment.

I like how Lin fans think I 'hate' Lin, I'm like 1 or 2 Clutchfans who met Lin at his premiere for his Linsanity movie. Forget about me, people think Clutch hates Lin, which is funny cause Clutch talks to Lin more than any of us here. He interviews all the players. The Rockets organization looked into Clutch's heart and they saw the blood of Hakeem, Moses, Drexler, Maxwell, Horry, Otis Thorpe, Cassell, Calvin, Ralph, Yao and they let him do what he does because they know that his DNA is purely Clutch City For us, the 1999ers, our DNA was pure Clutch City, no Bulls, no Lakers, no Celtics, no Pistons, no Spurs If you look at a blood sample of any 1999er, it looks like Hakeem doing a Dream shake on David Robinson
That's not as unique as you might think. Look at a guy like LeBron or MJ. They have fans that will travel with the player. In my case I'm a Knicks fan first and whatever team Lin plays on. I truly did enjoy rooting for the Rockets though and except for a few posters who got WAYYYYY too personal, I took and take all this in good nature. I respect fans that stick with teams thru thick and thin and it seems like there are a number of them here.
You're obviously free to do what you want, but if you're just a fan of wherever Lin is, why stay here and fuel what you know are incendiary conversations? He's gone. Let it die.
