They reviewed it and ruled a no hitter.

The hit was changed to an error, so Corpus was a San Antonio error away from being perfectoed

Heck, I remember when they played a full AA Hooks game at MMP. And on the very day the Astros were playing a game. That was just last month.

Does anyone else have the inclination that Mark Appel just isn't well liked by the other players in the organization? I mean, sure, Needy is having a good year, but CC gets no-hit when Appel makes his debut. I would think the CC guys would really be up for a game where the #1 pick is making his debut. That's a lot of eyes you can impress. Or, it was just one of those days.

LOL, dude I can assure the guys at CC are doing everything in their power to get themselves to the show regardless of situation. If Appel was Hitler they would still do everything they can to score.

I feel like Appels value has definitely taken a hit.. and I think Santanas embarrassing spurt in the show might have done the same.. hopefully they can climb back up.

I'd say he comes in around 6-7. He isn't having as good of a year as Ruiz, although it's hard to compare with Ruiz in that ballpark

FWIW, eyewitness scouting reports have been very lukewarm on Moran ever since he was drafted.
