Long, but good feature on Korver. I've wondered why we haven't heard of Morey going after Korver the last few years. It looks like the Hawks know how valuable he can be.

Korver is never getting away from these pictures, lol.

But I want to see the actual plays that made Korver turtle. The Michael Finley one looks like Korver got there late and just didn't want to foul.

Zach Lowe's columns are often subscription worthy in the angles he takes and explores. I like his podcast too, he just gets a little wordy at time while trying to interview/engage his guests. I think he'd do much better with a point man, but it is still something I listen to often if the subject/guest intrigues me.

Great get for Grantland stealing him away from SI.com, IMO.

Korver had an outstanding year last year, he has developed nicely.

Would love to have him on the Rockets for the next few years.

Korver is not a borderline star. But he's a nice solid rotational player

They didn't really sell Korver for summer league, they sold the 51st pick. It'd be different if he was on the roster and they got a first-hand look at him and still unloaded him just to cover opex.

That copy machine is probably "retired" by now. And "broke" too.

Technically, they sold him after picking him, so it wasn't just the pick...but I realize the title is still misleading, since it implies they sold him with the intention of using the money for SL and the copy machine, so that was my mistake.

The article is actually pretty good.

By being an NBA starter, Korver is one of the 150 most prestigious and important basketball players in the world. With 7.046 billion potential NBA stars on the planet, that puts him in the top 0.000002% of basketball players. He's definitely at least a borderline star, given the proper perspective. ;)
