you call every fact as bull crap, you must 'v a hick of a garden there Check this cnn article http://www.cnn.com/2014/07/29/world/meast/mideast-crisis/index.html?hpt=hp_inthenews. B.s " if u really want to defend Isreal's assault, u r not helping your case"
http://www.nytimes.com/2014/07/31/world/middleeast/israel-gaza.html Not only are they shelling the most densely populated district in Gaza, they are doing it indiscriminately and bombing places where they instructed refugees to go, all while having GPS coordinates to that location.
Excellent response cutting through the talking points of the supporters of Israeli wars. According to some folks like fchow it it is so clear, Hamas fires rockets that have no strategic value that kill a few civilians, therefore any sane person would label them terrorists-- end of story. On the other hand you have Israel bombing practically the only source of electric power for Gaza. They know that this will inevitably lead to hundreds and hundreds if not thousands of innocent civilians including babies and the elderly dying due to poor water and sanitation. This is similar to when the US deliberately killed hundreds of thousands of Iraqi children, primarily infants between our two invasions by destroying water and sanitation and then embargoing the parts and chemicals such as chlorine to restore the public health . There is not a great argument for calling Hamas "terrorist" while not calling Israel in this case and the US in the Iraqi sanctions case "terrorist". In the sanctions case Madeline Albright, the US Secretary of State iirc claimed that the estimated 500,000 Iraqis, mainly kids, killed by the sanctions was "worth it"
Good point about the "purposely" angle. However, I believe it is widely known that the Hamas rockets are relatively small and not the type to completely destroy a power plant.
Great point. I'm sure this "Hamas rockets misfired and hit own population/buildings" argument will be picking up a lot of steam now. Gotta be careful.
Hamas has some fairly advanced old soviet and iranian rockets in the mix. They wouldn't be able to hit Tel Aviv and Beersheva otherwise. I saw the missile the hit the water near the beach in Tel Aviv during the last one -- it was plenty big.
Israel does that as a PR move to address criticism, that's all. They don't give much care about Palestinian civilian lives. Israel has behaved WORSE than Hamas - let's be clear. Much worse. It's easy to switch to the responsible guy once you have conquered most of the land and boxed your enemy into a massive prison. The U.S. did nothing of the like of what Israel did. Israel's policy from the top down was to rid their land of Muslims so they could have a Jewish majority state. It was ethnic cleansing. And they got away with it. So well people don't understand why the Palestinians are so pissed off.

If you watch the video you will also see them chanting that Tibi's children will get hit next. I know this isn't a representation of the whole population of Israel, but this is a pretty large crowd partaking in such an event. I can't believe my taxes fund Israel's military.
Actually the US has done much worse. The treatment of native Americans was much worse than what Israel has done to the Palestinians. That isn't to justify Israel only that I find in these debates history gets forgotten or cherry picked.
I'm sorry but Hamas is not doing itself any favors by explicitly stating that the destruction of Israel is their main agenda. Israel has a large population of Druze and Arab Israeli citizens. And since its inception Israel has been threatened by its neighbors for simply existing.
Well hopefully we have learned something in the 100 years since then. What the US did to the Indians was probably as bad as the holocaust.
Hey, don't forget the United States "stealing" Texas! There are some other tropes trotted out whenever someone criticizes China. I guess those are coming out of the toolbox now for the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. Groovy.
The idea that the Israelis are "ethnically cleansing" Palestinians simply ignores reality. I question the intelligence of anyone that buys into that nonsense.
