I agree 100%. They need these picks more than people want to believe because no elite free agent is going to Phoenix any time soon and that's despite having a team tailor made for an Elite player like a Durant. I think the waiting is dependent mostly on Bledsoe blinking first and then waiting to see what happens with Love as the teams reportedly tied up with him (Philly, Minnesota) might have something Phoenix wants/needs.

A minimum of a Milsap inserted into this team is needed to advance in the playoffs. Hde had a career season last year like Dragic. Both are not going to be cheap yet alone both.

Plus he averaged 14 ppg in the playoffs and had two games in the playoffs were he went 0-5 from 3 point range and he has no post defense at all (western conference power forwards destroyed him last season) and the Rockets wanted to pay him a max contract as well and Bosh does not guarantee us passage through the western conference. Giving Bosh a max contract was a knee-jerk reaction move for the Rockets and a business move of the Heat. That 5 year $27 million is just the price of business when giving a 30 year old a max contract... But for 3-4 years he may be worth that contract playing in the eastern conference. And he may opt out of that contract after the 5th year if he's still productive and healthy so he can get another contract as most players do in that situation.

Dragic had a career shooting year with the help of Hornacek(see what he did with/for Korver). He will be the 2 guard filling the Harden role and Bledsoe will be the PG. Thomas will the the 6th man and backup PG if Bledsoe goes down again(possibility since career high in minutes was back in rookie year). Will Dragic opt out? Yes. Will he resign for max or near max with Phoenix? Yes Would he leave to chase ring? No. Wants to be an all star and that can't happen playing with Harden and Howard. How do I know this? Basic common sense.
