I think it makes sense that Hamas to legitimize their actions would not carry out their dirty tactics infront of international reporters.

I've never once defended Hamas. I feel like more Muslims should call them out on social media, etc instead of saying what would you do if your home, land was taken away. What's done is done and is in the past.
I would hope and pray that my govt. would not be stupid enough to keep using the exact same tactics they've been using for decades that never works and never brings about peace. I would hope that my government would try something new this time. I would also encourage my government to stop their discriminatory policies and allow the Palestinians to be more self sufficient.

I don't think many people or even Muslims are defending Hamas, especially not on this forum. Unlike the tons of radicals that are defending Israel's massacre, wiping out over 20 whole families.

After listening to the Hamas leaders refusing again and again to stop this suicidal mission they're dragging their own people to, I think Israel has one last choice to do. The prime minister should call a conference meeting and say: "Hamas- enough is enough! Stop killing your own people! We will give you 2 days to put down your weapons, after that rafiah borders will be open for un armed civilians to get the innocent out of harms way and then we will strike Gazze with all of our might and power, you are welcome to stay and fight but we highly urge you to not go that way. We will strike Hamas to the ground. It will be short, it will be painful, and from there we can re build Gazza and resume peace negotiation with the Palestinian people, not with the terrorist who took them hostages.
