But one ring (one that was won with Garnett, Pierce and Allen doing much of the heavy-lifting) isn't the difference between $12M and $24M per year.
Generally players with the same attributes don't fit well together so I could see how a back court of Harden and Harden might have some difficulty. Really though, how are you going to know without giving it a try? Harden did just fine with Durant and Westbrook who like the rock in their own hands as much as anyone.
I can't believe a poster who typed some garbage about Morey putting together personalities that don't fit and has created a "time bomb" is actually, wanting Rajon *****ing Rondo on the "time bomb" Rockets. A ballhogging, cocky, no defense playing, homeless man's Chris Paul with a bad temper on a team that is currently constructed, already a time bomb as is. Don't forget he ran Ray Allen out of town, and nearly got in a fight with Doc Rivers too. Okay.

Houston does not need Rondo. If we are going for Rondo we might as well ship James Harden out. On D Rondo is amazing but when it comes to offence, the man needs the ball to be effective. Lowry would have been the perfect fit for this team. Why we didn't shoot for him over Bosh in the first place completely baffles me. It also helps he knows how to play with a big man like he did with Yao. Now that he is settled in Toronto, i would hope our second choice is Dragic. Dragic has been working on his off the ball game with Bledsoe on that 2 pg system on the Phoenix team. Bledsoe is another one of those players that will need the ball in his hands to be effective. Dragic knows our system already so he will fit right into Mchale's game plan. For those who think Mchale does not know how to use a pg, look at how Dragic flourished. Beverly also blossomed nicely in our system.
For a guy a who has spent so much bandwidth verbally fellating such NBA mediocrities as Patrick Patterson, you sure have got your panties into a wad about Harden.
