contracts have to be at least 2 years before options for RFA's.

    ...Obviously wasted on you.

I think you're just being contrarian for the sake of it.

Well, it does seem to do its job, which is to help keep players from jumping ship after their rookie contracts. I'm sure fans of teams in some of the less glamorous cities like the fact that they have a leg up on locking up their young stars.

Players can still get paid though. I don't think Parsons has any issues with the RFA process.

I wonder why not all NBA players choose Dan Fegan as their agent. Does he choose his clients too?

We've had talks with Marion's reps. He doesn't seem to be too interested in joining the rockets. It's gonna take a bad contract to get him.

I certainly wouldn't put Charlotte in that category. Stephenson for that price was a great deal. They've really improved the team this year.

He also said the Rockets are NOT trading for Dragic a couple days ago, I thought he was just voicing his opinion but I guess he is claiming him self as a insider with that last post.

    lol

I don't want Rondo anywhere near the Rockets. There are teams that will give the Max to Rondo. He is an elite player.

If you believe he's elite (not sure I do), why would you not want him anywhere near the Rockets?

He also said that Lebron was just using teams so Miami could improve their roster for him, and that anyone thinking he would leave were idiots.

And he also said that Bosh would take less money to stay in Miami

CH, i get where you're coming from.. But Rondo has something that Lowery doesn't have and that's a ring.... And that's one big bargaining chip.

I think sentimental memories can cloud sound judgement. Yes he posted good numbers but he will not replicate the same numbers coming to Houston with Harden here.

I think he is a bad fit with Harden.

    ok

Any players we bring in has to complement Harden and Howard. Dragic would do so but his contract is bad as it ruins all flexibility for the team. Valuable assets now could possibly get us an elite level big man in the future.

Eventually you have to reach the point where "flexibility" becomes "reality". If Dragic is a star and compliments the two incumbent stars, you do it.

Lebron James isn't walking through that door. When you have a shot at a player of Dragic's quality (much greater than Parsons), you don't let that slip away.

Flexibility is no longer the mindset at that point. Championships are.
