It's why I ultimately see no ramifications from the players union grievances over Aiken/Nix. MLB players couldn't care less about draft picks, their struggles, or them being screwed over by teams. In their minds, they all have to face hardships to become established MLB players.

    I think that's a big assumption.

I don't doubt it. Players talk a lot of ****. Ultimately it doesn't matter if Appel gets straightened out.

If it was someone other than JJO reporting it, I'd probably believe it.

We know Brian Smith feels like it was it a slap in the face to the players, though he needs to stick to his job.

I get the feeling Tags heard it. He said he couldn't report anything negative that a player says off the record.

D.J. Fisher went 4-5 with 4 runs scored for Tri-City, and J.D. Davis went 4-5 with a double, an RBI, and 2 runs scored for Quad Cities today.

Tri-City keeps dominating even as players get promoted.

While this draft sucked for what happened on losing out on two promising HS pitchers, the college position players could be very good.

This is a guy who was openly trying to start **** in the clubhouse in the mid 00s.

Kent Emanuel had a solid outing last night as he went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs on 3 hits, walked 2, and struck out 7 in Lancaster's 8-3 win over Stockton.

They should bring him to MMP for a bullpen session.

The Astros really are doing their damndest to lose their fanbase.

I can't ever remember a bad team being this easy to dislike.
