is that suppose to mean anything, I can easily just say people who are sides with Israels are islamophobes
Nearly all, if not all of Hamas is comprised of Semitic people, it's doubtful they are anti-Semitic. If you mean Anti-Israeli or Anti-Jew, just say that. Arabic is a Semitic language just like Hebrew is.
Just out of curiosity, why are you so intent on posting in this thread? You have 80 posts now. That's second to ATW by just a few, over 10% of the total posts in a 700 post thread, and darn near twice as many as the next few members posting here. I know why Jackie has as many posts as he does, as he has a very long interest in the region, what's driving events, such as the religious aspect, and has always been very involved in related threads, but frankly, your interest and the number of posts surprises me, and I've been posting in this forum as long as it has existed. In fact, I protested its creation when Clutch opened it, later realizing, as usual with his decisions, that it was an excellent idea. So I has some basis for my curiosity. So what's up, if you don't mind me asking??
It's just a subject I know a bit about and it interests me. I grew up around a lot of Jewish people and got to know their thoughts on the subject, then as I got older I ended up being friends with some Palestinians and got to know their thoughts on the subject, even later I dated a Syrian girl for several years and the topic came up often with her parents. It's an interesting subject for just a ton of reasons not the least of which is that you can ask 100 informed people about their take and get 100 different responses. Another big thing is that any discussion about this subject can end up being a philosophy debate, which is fun. I love hearing people trying to describe their ethical philosophy, it's always so weird. Another big thing is that it kind of is a break from the normal partisan BS of the D&D and is a really really "grey" kind of topic no matter what your position.

Sigh. More Israeli Hasbara lies. First it claimed Hamas rockets hit the school, now they admit it once the outrage has died down a bit. Then next week they will acknowledge the deaths were a direct cause of their firings. http://news.yahoo.com/israel-acknowledges-mortar-shell-hit-un-school-194435738.html JERUSALEM (AP) — Israel acknowledged Sunday that troops fired a mortar shell that hit the courtyard of a U.N. school in Gaza last week
Axis of evil... Just to be clear, these guys aren't "freedom fighters". They are extremist terrorists like ISIS. Hamas and North Korea in secret arms deal Exclusive: Hamas has paid North Korea for missiles and communications equipment in arms deal worth hundreds of thousands of dollars Hamas militants are attempting to negotiate a new arms deal with North Korea for missiles and communications equipment that will allow them to maintain their offensive against Israel, according to Western security sources. Security officials say the deal between Hamas and North Korea is worth hundreds of thousands of dollars and is being handled by a Lebanese-based trading company with close ties to the militant Palestinian organisation based in east Beirut. Hamas officials are believed to have already made an initial cash down payment to secure the deal, and are now hoping that North Korea will soon begin shipping extra supplies of weapons to Gaza. “Hamas is looking for ways to replenish its stocks of missiles because of the large numbers it has fired at Israel in recent weeks,” explained a security official. “North Korea is an obvious place to seek supplies because Pyongyang already has close ties with a number of militant Islamist groups in the Middle East.” Using intermediaries based in Lebanon, Hamas officials are said to be intensifying their efforts to sign a new agreement with Pyongyang to provide hundreds of missiles together with communications equipment that will improve the ability of Hamas fighters to coordinate operations against Israeli forces. Like other Islamist terror groups in the region such as Hizbollah, Hamas has forged close links with North Korea, which is keen to support groups that are opposed to Western interests in the region. The relationship between Hamas and North Korea first became public in 2009 when 35 tons of arms, including surface-to-surface rockets and rocket-propelled grenades, were seized after a cargo plane carrying the equipment was forced to make an emergency landing at Bangkok airport. Investigators later confirmed that the arms cache has been destined for Iran, which then planned to smuggle the weapons to Hizbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in Gaza. Following Israel’s latest military offensive against Hamas operatives based in Gaza, Western security officials say Hamas is now trying to persuade North Korea to provide fresh supplies of rockets to replace the thousands of missiles that have been fired at Israel since the commencement of hostilities two weeks ago. Israeli military commanders supervising operations against Gaza believe North Korean experts have given Hamas advice on building the extensive network of tunnels in Gaza that has enabled fighters to move weapons without detection by Israeli drones, which maintain a constant monitoring operation over Gaza. The North Koreans have one of the world’s most sophisticated network of tunnels running beneath the demilitarised zone with South Korea, and Israeli commanders believe Hamas has used this expertise to improve their own tunnel network. The Hamas arsenal has become increasing sophisticated with foreign assistance and now boasts five variants of rockets and missiles. Its basic weapon is the Iranian-designed Qassam rocket with a range of less than ten miles but it also has a large stockpile of the 122mm Katyushas which boast a range of up to 30 miles. The introduction of the M-75 and Syrian-made M0302 missiles means Hamas boast offensive weapons with a longer range of up to 100 miles and a much greater explosive impact. Since the 2012 eight-day war, Hamas has increased the size and strength of its rocket arsenal. Israeli military intelligence puts its stockpile at around 10,000 rockets and mortars, including long-range rockets capable of reaching Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and the northern port city of Haifa. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/wor...amas-and-North-Korea-in-secret-arms-deal.html
Israel MUST stamp out Hamas. Hamas' mission is to stay relevant and in existence long enough to acquire some more powerful weaponry that can actually achieve their mission -- which clearly is to obliterate Israel. And on top of this Hamas takes the shameful and cowardly acts of putting children in harms way -- and then garnering sympathy from the worldwide community when their human shields die. They are truly despicable.
Israel is truly despicable as well. Hamas can EAD. So can Israel. Meanwhile, children continue to die. http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/israeli-strikes-gaza-rocket-fire-break-lull-24737271
Hamas is the lead gang of a prison. Israel can not beat Hamas because you have 1.9 million people living in this prison and there are endless numbers willing to fight because their life is so miserable. Until Israel understands it, it will only succeed in continuing to cause more and more human suffering and create what will be looked back as a dark time in its history.
This is absolutely disgusting. How someone can support a terrorist state like Israel committing war crimes, murdering children, destroying homes, and ruining lives is beyond me. I'm sick of it and their excuses. Wiping out 1.6 million people to stop a few militants. All based on a lie.
You have been duped into falling into Hamas' plan. They use human shields so they can attract headlines like "children are dying". They know that they cannot defeat Israel by conventional means (at least not YET), so they try to garner sympathy from others around the world by despicably using human shields. It's 100% terrorism -- even at the expense of Gazan children.
Hamas is not be good, but when someone holds a child as a shield you don't shoot through him. Please stop holding Israel to the same standards as Hamas. Hamas is a terrorist organization. Israel is supposed to be a first world country.
