She looks like Xena: Warrior Princess...why isn't the lasso Golden? Hope it's not post-CG fill in that "turns on" when she uses it. (What Zboy said)
Every time i see and read more about DC comics characters i think thet are boring bland and overpowered. Except batman (and his main enemies) Ofcourse he is a cool characters.
I thought so too until I read the rebirth of Green Lantern by Geoff Johns a few years back. It redid what the rings meant and why yellow was a weakness. That, Sinestro Wars, and the Blackest Night were pretty good... I haven't read much else though. It's too bad the movie was a green pile of crap.
It was a big disappointment the Rock wouldn't be able to influence, but I guess it was as bad as other comic book heaps like Fantastic Four. The ring CG didn't look authentic on film and it was especially cheap looking on the commercials. I dunno how one imagines a "good" Lantern on film but it should be more than looking grim and pointing with your fist. I guess with Iron Man, you get a sense of the character inside the suit when he talks to Jarvis on screen. Not sure how to get that sense in a title role, but it'd be easier if it was a Justice League movie. They also threw in a lot of things that didn't flow right, like that blob-like monster for the big villain. I wouldn't have minded them sticking to something less epic, like Sinestro instead hinting Sinestro's the next villain for a sequel. Blake Lively was hot though.
The footage was awesome. You can still find it on YouTube at this moment. I'm so hyped up for this movie I think Gal Gadot and the costume look fantastic, btw. She will make a great WW.
Still looks too skinny and wimpy So I expect a bunchof Scowling and brooding to look intimidating We will see. . . . Rocket River
I think he has good charisma. He's a grinder in life and I've seen some behind-the-scenes footage of an old documentary of another person back in the days of the movie DOOM being filmed where Rock's 5 minutes made everyone watching an instant fan. The guy is pure hard work and class.
God I hope so, the whole genre sucks. The Dark Knight trilogy was excellent; they were crime/suspense films that happened to feature superheroes. Other than that, no other movie in the genre has been more than mediocre. The more information that comes out about this movie, the more it looks like it's going to blow. They need to stop recycling garbage directors like Snyder and get some innovative guys to make good films. That's why it's such a shame Edgar Wright dropped out of Ant-Man
Breh, they're about to introduce a woman with super strength and a glowing golden lasso, in a movie that features a flying man in a leotard and a cape that can fire lasers out his freakin' eyes, who also came from an alien planet. I think crime and suspense is not the genre of this upcoming flick and never will be.
I sure hope not. The superhero (and sci-fi) genre has been my favorite genre since I was a kid. There are just too many characters to do for them to stop, although I agree the whole superman/batman/spiderman has seen way too many reboots. I hope they start going through other marvel and dc characters soon.

Batman with glowing eyes looked like Iron Man, to me. I don't get it - it was just Superman and Batman locking eyes with each other? Get a room, guys.
