    Extremely talented?!? GTFO.

The guy was a terrible defender, average athlete, average ball handler and somewhat of a streaky shooter. I'll give you that he was a great passer, for a SF, and played well off the ball..... but to say he was "extremely" talented is beyond stupid.

How many perimeter players score in traffic @ the rim and get no calls the way Parsons did? Both Parsons and Lin had to cover Harden's man in addition to their own. It was Harden that demanded that crucial switch from Bev to Parsons on that last play. I hate Harden more than any other player on the Rox. He's overrated and doesn't show up more often than not when it counts.

Shut up, Chandler Parsons is overpaid, overrated of how you claim he is. Sorry to offend you but what I said about your boyfriend it's true. He's a delusional moron. Parsons at his peak will be a Shane Battier with a better offense.

The only advantage Dallas has over Houston is coaching.

LOL.....did you not see what Monta did to the Spurs?? The Mavs pushed the Spurs further than any other team did. They'll be no more medicore than the Rockets this year They have a solid starting 5. Chandler was hurt last year, plus playing in the disarray that is the Knicks is tough.

If Parsons is a mediocre 3 option....who are the other 3rd options in the NBA that was better than mediocre?

Of course, Dirk is (1) now 36, (2) no longer a "franchise player" and (3) obviously can't carry a team to a title.

The main advantage the Mavs have over the Rockets is Carlisle vs. McHale, which is a complete blowout.

They are by far the most delusional team...they've only won 13 playoff series in the past 15 years, but act like they've won championship every year.

Do you have any idea how depressing it is to me that the Dallas freaking Mavericks have won 13 playoff series in the past 15 years...

and over that same span the Rockets have only won one?

    That's terrible. Geez.

Yeah, sure, Rox lost three key rotation players from last season's playoff squad, for nothing. Stuck with same lousy couch even they had chance to get rid of him.

And yet, after adding Ariza and a bunch of scrubs and a couple rounds of propaganda later (radio shows and articles), many Rox fans somehow are convinced that Rox is a better team now and they are having a better product.

Yeah, I am not sure Mavs is most delusional.

Their starting 5 might be a better fit than the Rockets', but they suffer from the same problem as the Rockets do: a weak bench. Losing Marion will hurt them a lot, and if the Rockets can pick him up, that would be a huge boon.

"Monte doesn't scare anyone except Carlisle." Haha. Brilliant

If it wasn't for The vinsanity 3, it's a 4-1 series. That was sick, and he's gone.

Btw. OKC pushed them further once ibaka came back

How? We have elite defenders at 3 out of 5 positions. They have elite defenders at 0 out of 5 positions. Dirk plays 30 min a night only. So while he is an effective scorer, he doesn't play a whole lot and his rebounding and defense are terrible. Any argument for Dallas is assuming Parsons is truly a cornerstone player. Otherwise who is on Dallas?
