I'm having a hard time thinking of a food I'm obsessed with, but I mostly agree with this post so far.

I was going to start a thread like this the other day, but for cheap, nasty, you - know - it - is - crap food that you love, but know you shouldn't. That is because I've developed an unnatural obsession with that cheap nasty nacho "cheese" processed food product like you get with stadium nachos. Any trip to Taco Bell requires me to get the crappy 99 cent bag of chips and cheese nachos.

Intelectually, I know they are ****, but could honestly sit there and guzzle straight from the vat. Some of the things people have listed in this thread are foods where you should know why you like them - it's because they are damn good food. Fake cheese sauce is not one of those.

I buy ice cream cones, but very rarely ice cream, I just enjoy chomping down on the cone, what is wrong with me? Even at mexican restaurants that have the soft serve machines I just grab a cone.

I've loved nacho cheese Doritos all my life. No idea why this particular variety of junk is so addictive, even when otherwise I can teach myself to like healthier things.

I'm definitely with the OP on this one, I could eat sour cream every single day...on anything. I eat it plain by the spoonful on a regular basis. I'm a sour-nut but never realized it til now. I love dill pickles, dill pickle wheat thins, ketchup flavored chips, salt and vinegar chips, and my grammas raw cucumber and onion mix soaked in vinegar. Yum...I miss her. I should probably give her a call...

Good - thanks. I'm still in here, just not constantly. I have a two-year-old boy, and he's very... active. :)

RocRouge, my mom used to fix me cucumbers in vinegar (I didn't like onions). I'd even take them to school - some of my neighbors didn't appreciate the smell, but one friend liked them and always ate half of them, lol.

I cannot pass up really good bread. I love going to (chain) Italian restaurants for this reason.

Cheese toast. My mom would make them as a quick snack when I was little. It's just a slice of cheese on a slice of bread and placed in the oven under the broiler for a minute. She would always let hers go til the cheese turned brown and black. I could never go that far, mine would come out just before it starts to turn.

    Also lightly salted watermelon balls
