Actually it's the "same" crap just from a different source. Morey, Harden and Howard can talk all they want but in the end, it will be results on the court that count the most. This is Morey's 8th season as GM, Harden's 3rd as a Rocket and Howard's 2nd as a Rocket. I have zero interest in what they say, tweet or post on Facebook. I care even less about what others (especially Mark Cuban) tweet, post, report, blog, comment or allege because all that stuff is irrelevant. My only concern is with what I see happening on the court and the results thereof because that's the ONLY thing that counts. It is now 19 years and counting and they (Rockets) are no closer to making in the Western Conference Finals much less the 2nd round of the playoffs. They flame out in the 1st round of the playoffs again and it will get plenty ugly around here and then it will be 20 years and counting.

Carl Herrera is firmly up his own ass. It's sad... He used to be one of my favorite posters. I miss that Carl Herrera now that he's a shell of himself.

I think Chandler Parsons IS a role player compare to Dwight and Harden. If he play with players that have lesser talents than him, then he's considered a star!!

I haven't seen anything special about Parsons. He isn't a consistent shooter. He's not the most athletic and physical players on the court and at time missed layups and got his shots blocked. There are some players that you considered "DECENT," but not great....like Ariza. He's just Ariza...not a star and not a scrub either. They're like in the middle. There are many Chandler Parsons in this league.

Carl, for years you have been one of the smarter and more witty posters on this site. For a long time, I considered you a 'must read'. I understand you do not like James Harden, and you think that Kevin Love is a better player. However, your single-mindedness recently is bordering on obsessive. I think your feelings are also clouding your objectivity. You are venturing into DD territory with some of your convoluted arguments to justify your player preference.

You may not like Harden as a player or person, but he is the current 'cornerstone' of the team, however you choose to define that. Objectively speaking, he has had more team success than Kevin Love. So, you have made your point that you don't think Harden is such a swell guy. But give it a rest already. You are not going to convince anyone except the people that already agree with you.

I'll have to stand with Carl on this one, Harden has been an all-stats, no heart player so far with the Rockets. I cannot bring myself to like this guy one bit. Plays some F@cking defense you bum!

These comments are getting annoying. People aren't really standing with Carl on this one. Not to the extent he is.

Or do you mean you are also "venturing into DD territory with some of your convoluted arguments to justify your player preference."

It's fine to be upset with Harden and demanding he play defense, but at this point, people who defend Carl Herrera need to stop. None of you are doing what he is doing. None of you actually are as obsessive and making the same categorically wrong convoluted arguments that he is.

So, let's be clear Lovemachine2000, do you truly stand with Carl on this, or do you just mean to chime in on the more rational point that Harden should play D, and should probably not have gone public with his true statement.

    1. At the end of the day, Parsons will still make 45 million dollars in the next 3 seasons. That is more than any of us here so please stop. I was against matching the offer sheet from a basketball stand point. Some of you guys are personally butthurt with him leaving though.

    2. Lin was paid 5 mil per year in his two seasons with us so we underpaid him. The Lakers however are going to over pay him at 15 million next season. Why the F should I care what the Lakers are paying him?

    3. Asik was a solid player for us. I didn't like him quitting on us and demanding a trade, but that's NBA business.

Love actually TRIES. He is not a defensive stalwart by any means, but he is a capable rebounder and an exceptional shooter for his size, most importantly, he at least gives effort on defense. Harden, on the other hand, is simply not playing defense at all much of the time.
