    It's a Texas-themed park. Seems perfect to me ;)

The groundbreaking is in November, not the opening. The opening is still supposed to be Memorial Day 2015.

Yeah, RV Parks are only for rinky dink outfits like Cedar Point.

    Camper Village at Cedar Point.

    :)

Although, I'm generally with those who think that's a short time to get a waterpark up and running.

The article from Screamscape claims they've already been doing infrastructure work, so I guess if that's true, it wouldn't take much to get the above ground hardware in.

Still, if groundbreaking is November, we're talking about seven months.

I'm well aware of the campground at Walt Disney World. They have a great restaurant there, actually. But that wasn't exactly Phase 1! :)

New timeline info from Grand Texas for each phase, with expansion room shown. Wish the image was bigger, but it came from an article and that's the size of the thing.

Also, sorry, I just saw this.... but the campground actually was part of phase 1 for Walt Disney World. It opened two months after the resort itself opened its gates. Well, two months, so I guess phase 1.5? :)

290 is a black hole where time slows down and you can see every second of your life passing by. There was a two or three week span where there were multiple accidents just in the HOV lane. Cars on fire, patio furniture sets on the ground, cops on motorcycles trying to cut thru the single lane HOV even though theres a bus in the way. I think Satan designed that freeway.

Agreed. If there was a highway to hell, 290 would be the highway to take.
