Wish I could have seen him in Summer League, but oh well. I hope he gets a lot of strength training in before the season starts.
After we missed on the big free agents this year, I have no problem bringing this guy in to begin his development process. I would imagine that he will spend most of his time with RGV and only get limited minutes with the Rockets.
Give him a chance. Make him shoot a thousand 3's in each corner everyday until training camp and let's see what we got.
Huh? Maybe he can be a C if he ever fills out his build right now is more KG than Dwight. Dude's like a stickman with long arms and legs. I know he raised a his sy fit about coming to the NBA but tbh I wanted him to stay overseas. In Europe he can be the main man and get touches/exp just like DMO did. In the NBA he'll compete in the Dleague which is a tier lower than Europe or rot in the bench. I know PT isn't the only wah to develop however its not like Europe has bad big men, on the contrary the big men I've seen coming from Europe are generally more skilled than their NBA counterparts...case in point DMo has more skills than Tjones. In Europe he can get more PT and skills development which isn't all that different from the NBA. Not sure how hell get mins with Dorsey, DMo and Tjones all being more NBA ready than him.
Glad that he'll be in the states. I assume that he will be the starting PF for the Vipers, and hopefully he can grow faster as he goes against semi NBA talent.
I don't get it. He hurts our cap space, and probably won't play for main team (DLeague stash probably). So we are tanking this season or what?
saw him at Summer League, even got a pic with him, I saw him being introduced to Terrence Jones for the first time I believe wish he played with the SL team to see how he stacks against others
Looks like something changed their mind:

Also, Rockets rookie forward Clint Capela is expected to be on the team's roster next season, not overseas, a source told Yahoo.
— Marc J.
