At this point I'm not a fan of this move, but it looks like there will be more to it. Hopefully once the dust is settled we'll be in better shape than we are now.

This one is probably a USMNT dude. As long as it is someone from a team that advanced to the best 16... and not England. :p

I was a fan of Creavalle. I would have much rather kept Creavalle instead of acquiring Beasley. As others have posted, it's not like Beasley will be that much better defensively than Ashe.

I'm a huge fan of Corey Ashe, and this kind of bums me out. I have a feeling this could be a move just to try and bring some cache to the Dynamo name?? Acquiring recognizable names might bring in more casual fans, even though it's a detriment to the TEAM? I don't know. I'm just so frustrated with our garbage ownership situation. This team used to be something to be proud of, but AEG has completely neutered the front office's ability to go out and find players that will work in Kinear's system.

DISLIKE this trade more than I've felt about a trade for any of my favourite sports teams in a while.
I'm also a big fan of Creavalle, ESPECIALLY his versatility. The Dynamo will miss that in the end.

Lb was hardly the biggest problem on this team. They still need TWO center backs and a central midfielder

Now that I think about it, I think beasly will be playing in the midfield, and Boniek will slide centrally......idk......still doesn't make a ton of sense to me

Who do you think this other player they are in advanced talks with is? What position could he be? CM? CB?

Seems like Glen Davis is hinting at the fact it may be Carlo Costly as the "World Cup player".

This might be crazy, but I think they are bringing in Beasley AND another player.. it seems like Beasley to Houston is a done deal..

Lovell tweeted, Creavalle to Toronto FC to pave way for beasley

AND then said they were targeting a world cup player, who's not from usmt..

    Hoping for a Costa Rican!

So basically, we're saying screw defense. Attack attack attack.

Really have no clue, I would hope for a CB

He'd stay on the left, like always

Again? That seems weird to me

Yea I would say not be a fan of Costly either....although another report says Costly is going to be playing in Argentina so Davis (which was just speculation) is probably wrong on that one.

Yeah, I thought Kinnear didn't like Costly? Chicharito would be a pipe dream.
