We watched the first 2 episodes the other night, and it's pretty good so far. I'm along on the ride, hope it doesn't disappoint.

A kid from Nigeria goes to America and becomes the greatest basketball player ever . A bunch of non believers try to thwart his dream of a championship but were exorcised by a group of men who formed a fellowship in the 90s.

The Ken doll rock star scene made me cringe. I hope next weeks episode picks up a bit but I guess they are making it slow on purpose.

I thought he should have freaked out more

So far it is looking good
the old Jew is such a Cumudgeon . . . .he is probably the most interesting character

Anything del Toro makes is gold as usual because he's hispanic.

This is a good show but not great. Though it has all the potential of being great.

Story needs to pick up a little more. It seems very sluggish...

It has moved better than Penny Dreaful . . which isn't saying much

I think they skipping around . . . I think the 'human' elements are hurting the pacing.

I think they need to cut the family stuff. I think the mystery is out of the bag
The old man needs more screen time
and time to fill in his back story

    Rocket River
How many episodes do they get

Enjoying it so far. Just saw the first 3 episodes. Love the vampire mythology. More of this please.

Not feeling at all all of the main characters backstory. Time wasters for me. Annoying.

They need to pick up the pace.

Based on the books, the back stories are important to the fleshing out of the characters and the future of the story
