Ah, see I wondered how it worked at the bars. I just assumed those people were paying for the drinks. I'll be all over this next time as I actually prefer video poker to slots. At least there's some skill involved.

Absinthe is hands down the best show in Vegas. I almost died laughing.

Penny slots are awesome for this. Just kept playing blackjack with 5 cents and lasted $2 for about an hour or so.

The best deal i could find was just Southwest's website. If you don't care much about flight times there are better deals to be found but we wanted to leave Houston before 12 on a Thursday and return from Vegas the following Sunday after 12.

Same here. Used the Southwest Vacations website.
As mentioned above, some other sites maybe cheaper but they mostly use Spirit and Frontier airlines and those have only a few flights to choose from with not so great departure / arrival times.

We usually use LasVegas dot com, believe it or not.

I found a slot machine at the Paris that I was able to use the same dollar for 2 days. Over the course of 2 days (and countless drinks...) I got it up to $12 before finally busting.

That $1 got us a LOT of drinks. :)

Like my Pops always said when they lived in Phoenix, "you're either boiling or you're baking, either way, you're ****ing cooked".

Hey, can you shoot me a PM? I have a question for you.

Will do when I get back. Super busy as this is a surprise birthday with 40 couples involved. Sitting in the limo waiting to party now!

Your inside 99% of the time so the temp is not that big a deal.

I went back in second week of April. Was 80 degrees with a cool breeze at 1pm at the pool. Think we going back again next April as weather was perfect.

The heat really is different. Even though it's 105 there I can walk around for over an hour without sweating much.

Here? I start sweating as soon as I walk outside in 95 degree weather.
