I absolutely agree. There is more mis-information going through sports agencies than anywhere else as well. Everyone has an agenda, and at the end of the day if the paperwork has yet to be sent into the NBA front office, its never 100%. Even info coming from confirmed insiders, I'd hope people would be smart enough to understand political motives for that information getting out there before they take everything at face value. However it is nice to know that if someone is claiming to work next to C-level executives for Exxon, that they don't work as a door greeter at Wall Mart.
This is true. LOL Some of the claimed insiders don't even really have a source at all. They just think they know something and to get credibility to their theory on this BBS they claim insider status to look good when it ends up being true. Unfortunately for some, there has been a lot of crashing and burning this offseason.
If only we had somebody like Zoe Barnes sleeping with Congressman Frank Underwood. When Underwood wanted something to happen, he just had Zoe "report that Catherine Durant was the next choice" then everyone started considering it and it happened. Maybe if I report a crazy trade as happening, like Love for Tjones, NOP, all our foreigners, and a BJ from a Rox power dancer, they will consider it and BOOM it happens. I'm an insider now ppl, just wait.
As you can see I've already said my insider claims we will get him within 3-4 years. Maybe he does know something. Spoiler
Thing is about insider information, how was it obtained? Did the Think Tank at Toyota Center come up with, "Hey, guys, no way Phoenix intends to keep all four point guards on their roster. Even if they call Goran a 'shooting guard', let's keep it real: one of them's about to get a massive raise, and another will be due big money in a year. So how about it? Can we get the Dragon? Come on, guys!" And around the table they all chant in unison: "Dynex! Dynex! Dynex!" And they all break up in laughter. And Morey says, "Yeah, I know we can get Goran. I'm confident. Hold that thought, everyone. As they say, you don't drink gallons of coffee. You just rent them." And THIS part of the conversation was overheard and passed along the grapevine. And Morey heads to the restroom and before he has finished and (hopefully) flushed the urinal, he thinks, "Man, what if Sarver tries to rake me over the coals when I call about Goran?" And (hopefully) after washing his hands, he goes to play some ping pong against Rosas to clear his mind, and says, "Let's keep Goran as an option, but keep the lines of communication open to Danny and Flip. One of these points will shake loose, but we have to consider which one'll cost us the most. Goran? Rajon? Ricky?" "Right, Daryl," says Rosas. "My serve." "Your serve? Like hell it is. It's my serve. Ball. Ball. I'm serious, it's my serve. You wanna go work for that scumbag Cuban again? Then gimme the ball. Thank you. Hey, do you really think Cuban canned you because you overheard his conference call with Fegan and Chandler?" "What do you think?" (shakes head ruefully) "Those f*****s. 15 million dollars, they can have Ego Boy. Okay, 3-1. Ready?" EXCEPT, the conversation post-piss was not overheard by someone who passed it on to someone who passed it on. So, the Dynex Dragon might very well be our target. He might be a Rocket again. But I'm sure upgrading the 1 (where we were hammered last season) is a priority and if Dragic doesn't pan out, maybe he's just one of the few that Morey's juggling? However, I will give Plowman credit. He's sticking to his guns.
Preach it... If you are legit don't worry about it. You will prove yourself let the morons Bash and we can laugh at them when you make them look stupid by being right. If you are way off that will prove itself too... No need to crucify before the trial people
They are about as thrilled as we were to have Parsons last year. However they know that contract is about to explode except unlike the Parsons situation Gogi has the option not The team. Phoenix isn't likely to want to pay, at least that is what their offseason signings And draft tell me. Now for everydody who wants a deal now know this. The longer that this drags out the less It will take to pull Gogi away, not because of the player he is, but because of his contract. Not Many teams are willing to pay him because 1. They are not as close as we are to a Championship roster as we are and 2. Because Gogi by himself is just simply not a franchise type player. On our he along with the Ariza signing might be enough to put us over the top. I AM NOT AN INSIDER WITH INSIDER TYPE INFO. JUST SOMEONE PUTTING TWO AND TWO TOGETHER WITH SOME RATIONAL THINKING. It seems that the Suns are playing a game Of chicken trying to get the most for Gogi while pulling a balancing act for Bledsoe trying to Keep him a Sun. Lets see how it plays out because time I dont think is on their side.
Bam... Rox and Yank can you just shut up now? I would rather hear the insider info from these guys wether real or fake (time will tell anyway) then listen to you guys rant on and on and on. It's the same garbage in every page from doc to cyber to this. A handful of people bash the person kind enough to share, and think they are throwing out some new argument we have never heard. Suddenly all of clutchfans will rise up behind you... Hey you know that is improbable and we will go on a modern day witch hunt and flame anyone even hints that they have some news or rumors from inside intel. Flame them!!! Ban them!!! It's the same BS regurgitated over and over ...... Literally no one cares just stop. If you want we will start a "we hate insiders thread" where y'all can bash and flame away to your hearts desire. But keep that garbage out of here... It's old now.
I haven't heard anything regarding Bledsoe, which is strange. The Lakers have not officially signed Hill and I read another rumor that he could be used with Randle to trade for Bled, but have not confirmed that in any way. Sounds bogus.
A lot of what cyberx posts is office gossip that is clearly sourced to the media. Les may have wanted Lin I have no idea, but Les wanting Lin is not why Dragic left.
but don't you think if it was pretty much a done deal to get Dragic, we would hear Woj or somebody talk about it? i know people are going to bring up the artest and harden trade as trades we didn't hear about until it happened but this is different. we didn't hear much about those trades, it just happened. don't remember if any "insiders" were calling it before hand. with this, we are hearing from local "insiders" but not anyone repuatable.
Wouldn't Hill come in under the BYC rule if s&t'd ? And do teams try to turn contracts into s&t's (out not in) after already agreeing to terms?
You can give up on Kevin Love. The only real feasible way the Rockets are involved is as a third team facilitating the trade for Minnesota.
