bro update your sig, its depressing to see what could of been. also on your obession with haywood in your sig, he has a great contract to onload in the future, my guess is wolves are demanding him in the love trade.
Yeah, I need to. Just can't figure out where to go next with it. I'm still holding out hope for Love until he's gone.
Fwiw, Pekovic's situation lasted until mid-August. http://www.sbnation.com/nba/2013/8/14/4621624/nikola-pekovic-signs-contract-minnesota-timberwolves
You don't say??? Every time someone proposes throwing that New Orleans first rounder into a trade for, say, Dragic, I do my silent contagem regressiva in my head... "Time until basketballholic jumps in saying we need to keep that pick (tacit implication: to help get Kevin Love)....in 5, 4, 3...." We just don't have the guns, even if Cleveland doesn't offer Wiggins (which, I think, they'll have to).
MLE targets (partial after NJ signing) / vet min targets Marion Aminu Garcia nazr Mohammed Emeka Okufur Singleton? other options but i dont see happening Wes johnson, Henry, Mo Williams, Sessions, Ridnour, deffenlty seen a trend this offseason, no one sems to be touching PG's cough* Ish Smith*cough, still seems like the weirdest vet min siginng ever IMO in the morey era going after Ish so quick, was thier really a market for Ish that we had to sign him so early? or was the whole reason to sign him to a 100% guareeneed contract to start the clock to trade him out ASAP?
people who you view as here to win, ie your core (although technically james did come for money but he's worth more than he's paid), you don't use as trade assets, that way future people seeking to become "core" don't feel that way. The rest of them come for money, they're selling themselves as commodities, of course they're assets.
What you said was ridiculous. 1) The whole Les wanted Lin and that's why Dragic is gone argument is stupid. Morey offered Dragic a contract before ever had discussions with Lin. It was only when PHX tacked on the extra year via player option that Morey walked away and moved on to Lin. 2) On top of that, Morey had every expectation that the Knicks were going to match the offersheet. 3) If we do somehow magically acquire Dragic without giving anything of significance up like you seem to suggest, he can't sign an extension when he gets here due to the rules of the CBA. Your insider info reeks of the same stench of basketballholics inside info. Having an agenda and theories and then creating a story that matches both because you think you will be right. Edit: None of that means you don't have a source close to the team or something, but parts of the story are just clearly false.
Sorry. Haven't actually followed your post history. I know about a year or so ago Cyberx was getting a ton of heat on the GARM, and Clutch vouched for him pretty quickly so I was wondering if that was ever done for you. Its not that I dont trust you, its just that I dont trust anyone. I asked about a week ago for another insider (forgot who) if he would be kind enough to be direct message a mod to get confirmation, BasketballHollic flamed everyone who questioned his legitimacy, and then minutes later Clutch himself confirmed that you really can't be a Rockets insider if you are posting from Indonesia. I get it if you dont want to go that route, but you have to realize that this forum is littered with posers so it would really be appreciated if people could be backed up from a mod. Thnx.
This I can understand. I mean at least you're being consistent. What I'm having a hard time understanding is why majority of the board bash Drew, but are willing to give Plowman the benefit of doubt. Why the double standard? I'm still waiting for somebody to explain to me the difference between Drew and Plowman. Just because he's a 99'er we have to kiss his a55? At least Drew's insider info has panned out before, unlike Plowman who came out of nowhere.
BBallholic WOULD flame anyone who questions insider legitimacy when he himself has claimed to be an insider this offseason with some laughable results. But I'm going to clarify something for people. Depending on who a potential source is, insider information can really be garbage. I'm going to get myself verified with Clutch and then people will believe me when I tell you that even though I can be verified as an insider because of a relationship I don't have much real inside information! Unless they are in the inner circle then most of what they will report is office gossip. Your wife may work at Exxon but unless she is right next to the CEO she has no inside information of worth on Exxon's dealings. It's the same way with sports teams.
Exactly, Les and Morey will never trade Harden. He is a core piece and will be a Rockets legend forever like TMac, Stevie Franchise and Scottie Pippen.
Giving it a chance to work HOW? Like many have already mentioned, it's not even possible to give him a long term extension. That makes the validity of what you said completely vanished. The best part is, you're not even giving us a time frame. So let's say Rox re-acquire Dragic in 2017, does that mean you're finally right? Yeah, right.
