No disrespect intended but has plowman been confirmed? Haven't been keeping up with this thread and randomly seen some posts elsewhere that Dragic is a realistic option but haven't seen anything beyond speculation yet. Thx.
i wish we had traded with the magic and gotten afflalo for that 2nd round pick. That's a great trade and he's a perfect 3&d guy.
I'm with the others on the Bev topic. I love him as a player but I want him to be that bulldog off the bench going hard nose defense for 25 minutes a game rather then getting gassed because of the style of play he has. Pair him with an above average PG and you have a great 1-2 combo in my opinion.
Plowman has put out his reputation stating his connection to a source. If things dont pan out, I know that Plowman will take and eat his crow and accept his public trashing like a man. We shall wait and see...lots that can go on... and a lot of things that have to happen in order for things to happen.
The name calling is unnecessary. But his point is valid. Plowman has been spewing the same information as Drew the clown. So IMO they deserve the same treatment.
So, if I hear you right, Minnesota....Until a story breaks, anyone with advance/inside info...is to be drawn and quartered BEFORE it can be verified. Now, this is the same messed up logic that has become so pervasive on the board over the years. The same asinine BS that has driven Doc and many others away. What you say, flies in the face of the spirit of the board. From the beginning these NUGGETS were welcomed/embraced. They are what's made this place so special. Now, in this age of instant gratification with technology and the illusion of transparency......we are losing something here. Think about it. In a few years there will be people claiming on this board to have inside info that the Lakers are in secret trade talks with the Rockets to trade Lin back to us. These hyped up rumors were bound to happen with Dragic, as well, after his all star type season with the Suns.
Man, I don't care if the information is legit or not. It just brings hope to me and I embrace it. This is what I live for - Hope. Hope for Dragic and Hope for a championship. Keep my hopes alive Drew, Plowman, Cyberex.
Cyberx's insider info isn't always 100% accurate. In fact, I would say half of them don't pan out. But you don't see my crucify him. Why? Because everybody understands that a lot of things need to be aligned for a trade to go down. Some time things fall apart in the last minute, e.g. the Bosh signing. But your nuggets? Let me quote your original "insider" info: When you give out the "insider" info with such certainty, with a condescending tone no less, how are you different from Drew the clown? And when it doesn't pan out, how do you expect me not treat you the same as Drew?
The odds of Phoenix handing us Dragic are about equal to the odds of us giving Harden back to OKC. I don't know any insiders up in Phoenix, but my inside gut tells me the Suns are quite thrilled to have Dragic back on their team.
