So, is he like a serious actor now? Or still a joke actor? He's a joke actor still, right? I hope he's still a joke. I can't take him seriously. Not saying Captain Marvel is a joke or some prestigious role, just don't get The Rock's appeal. I thought little kids liked the guy, not real people?
He's really grown, I think, since his Scorpion King days. Don't expect an Oscar worthy performance but he can certainly hold his own in an action movie.
Sincerely, The guy who got sand kicked in his face his entire childhood, quit working out after his second trip to the gym and has ugly girls as his only friends.
The Rock has actually turned into a really good actor. I'm excited to see him as Shazam! He'll be good to be a humorous character because Shazam is in the comics given he is actually a kid at heart. But I can definitely seeing him getting badass when Shazam does his thing. Good casting.
The Rock is awesome! People who don't (at the very least) like him even a bit are just closed off to the idea of him being a decent actor. Which is understandable, his first few movies were jokes. But he's become a box office star and is our generation's "huge bodybuilder with amazing charisma" movie star. He fits Shazam perfectly, and if it's marketed correctly, it could be huge with kids and adults. Sort of like a live-action Pixar movie. But goodness I hope they put him in the future Justice League movie. Initial rumors just have it being a stand alone movie.
I saw some list on E or Good Morning America or some other equally vapid show that was on one morning that noted The Rock pulled in north of $50 million last year .... He was second on the list of highest paying actors. Maybe he's still pulling some wrestling royalties? In any case.... Good for him.
The Rock's best roles were in Reno 911!: Miami and The Other Guys. I haven't been impressed with anything else he's done. But then again, this movie is going to be a craphole anyways. I wonder if it will be the movie that makes people finally say, "OK, that's enough superhero stuff for now."

http://www.movieweb.com/news/leaked-photo-of-batman-in-batman-v-superman-teaser-footage?page=2 Looks interesting.
Saw the footage, looked badass. I've never seen a more intense staredown! As for Gadot, she looks ten times better than I expected. The look is great, hopefully she can deliver the lines.
Link for the footage? What's with the glowing eyes? Is it similar to the Iron man suit with HUD capabilities?
http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/JoshWildingNewsAndReviews/news/?a=104552 I think the glowing white eyes are a throwback to pretty much every Batman comic and cartoon, where he always just has completely white eyes. And the armor is famous for his fight against Superman in the Dark Knight Returns comic series.
Wonder Woman is known for only one thing: Her assets. And they completely covered them. That looks nothing like Wonder Woman. Looks more like Xena Kardashian. Wonder if they will do the Wonder Woman & Invisible Man on the roof top scene....
